I have recently purchased a 60-7- year old home knowing that the Kitchen needed to be gutted, however I found other items that need to be done.
Sloping floors need to be fixed
Then all flooring needs to be redone. I'm looking for large plank hard wood type you would find in old homes
The kitchen needs to be gutted
I would like these renos to be quoted and done over a period of time for budget reasons.
Good morning: I live in cambridge I am inquiring as to a quote for some hardwood flooring that I need layed. The total space is 425 sq. ft, comprised of a carpeted living room and dining room, a large foyer with linoleum tile, 12 carpeted stairs and an upstairs carpeted hallway. I have all product on hand including t-mouldings and reducer mouldings and flooring of course. I will be installing my own baseboards once the floors are completed. The flooring to be installed is 3/4" x 4 3/4" pre-finished oak nail-down flooring. Hoping to have the job done in the next two weeks and looking for some quotes.
Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you.
I am looking to remove carpet from a living room, stairs, landing and three bedrooms and have the hardwood restored or replaced if required. The home is about 80-100 years old. Some floors have already been restored and are in decent condition.
For materials I would prefer real hardwood if restoration of floors can't be done but would be willing to go to engineered product if worked with the older home. I would want a darker stain for the floors and there is droped floor that has three stairs around a corner to be done so some specialized stair cutting would be required. Also there is already and dark engineered hardwood on the drop floor and kitchen would like to find as close a possible match to that but maybe a better quality.

Stair case - restore about 10 stairs

We would like to have about 300 sq. ft. of laminate floor installed in our bedroom and closet. We are prepared to remove the existing carpet ourselves, but please QUOTE on removing the carpet and installing the flooring.
Bedroom is approximately 17' x 12' and closet is approximately 10' x 8'.
We are looking at ripping up tile in the kitchen, then covering with laminate hardwood.
In the other areas of the house, the carpet has already been ripped up, so the natural flooring is already showing. We would like to cover this area with laminate hardwood also.
Max 1150 sq ft.
House is 17 years old.
Preferrredclick here would also require a formal estimate on company letterhead.

We just bought a house that was built in 1991. There is a stair case in the centre of the main floor that leads upstairs and both sides are loose, however the right side is much looser than the left side. We would like to get these tightened and a quote for replacing the flooring on our main floor to laminate. Right now there is an old cheap laminate on about half of the flooring, old cheap vinyl in the kitchen and some new carpet in the living and dining room. The home is 3600 sqft.
I have purchased 761 squared feet (Includes 10% overage) of bamboo hardwood flooring to be installed in 4 bedrooms and the hallway in the upper floor of my house.
I am looking at getting pricing for installation only. I will move everything out of all the rooms, remove the existing flooring to the subfloor, remove the trim and anything else that is required to be removed for installation purposes.
Please include a potential date that you would be able to start the work and also the anticipated duration that the work will take to complete.
My house is located on Preston Parkway in Cambridge.
