Recently purchased a home in Courtice, Ontario with an unfinished basement. Looking to have it renovated with a living area, bathroom, and bedroom. The area is currently roughed in for a 3-piece bathroom. I've attached a layout below. Area is approximately 500 sq ft.
Please send approximate pricing.
The house is an all brick bungalow in Courtice Ontario built in 1958. Bathroom is in the basement and house is on septic
The current shower is a Lowes store bought unit installed on a wooden base and raised to accomodate the up flush system to our septic.( see photo) We require the current shower enclosure to be taken away, a new permanent style shower designed and constructed which may require replacing walls, building the base with glass walls and door and tile work done to the inside 2 walls to complete it. Not a huge job but beyond our expertise. The 2 previous store bought enclosures have not served our purpose and we.ve decided a permanent structure is the way to go. We need this done very quickly as the one upstairs shower is inconvenient and the current shower is not functioning properly.
Current shower pictured is 41 " on both inside walls. 18" out and angled 25" door. Would be interested in any other ideas to design or relocate as bathroom itself is quite large but drainage to the upflush is the challenge.
I am looking to have my (dated) finished basement renovated to become a liveable apartment. There is a bathroom which will need to be gutted and replaced. I'd like to add a kitchen and laundry room, one bedroom and an office/den. There is a walk-out entrance/exit already. Please let me know what further information you may need or if you are available to come see it for a quote.
We have a 1500 sq ft basement to include, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. the basement is not finished what so ever so to the bare walls, nothing to tear out. the house is approx. 20 years old. the basement has larger windows but no walkout, would also like a walk in to the basement dug for excess into the basement from outside.
Part of the basement is below a sunken Living room, so this area will stay as a work area/shop storage.
