I have just moved into a 26 years old detached home. We currently only have one way to the basement from the main stairs in the house on the first floor. I'm looking to build a side stair to the basement from our side door of the house. So to build this, our house studs would need to be cut for the opening and after supported properly. My house is about 2100 squarefoot. My basement is completely unfinished, just like in a brand new home. I'm looking for an experienced handyman who have done this type of job before. I've also added pictures of my current basement where the stair will be. The link below shows similar projects to what i have inclick here
There I was wondering if you could assist me. I will looking for a straight set of stairs from the main floor to the basement. I was wondering it would be possible to give me an estimate and or range for the same. We would require a brand new set with of basic stairs with a simple railing. The location of the house is Etobicoke area. Seeking a good economical option.
Basement staircase needs a railing- something that’s toddler friendly. Open to ideas- design and material (I.e wood, plexiglass). Basement being used for family room and play area.
Looking for someone to propose a few ideas. Would like to keep within $700 budget for labour and materials.
We have driveway parking available, side entrance to house straight into basement, and flexible with hours (days, evenings, weekends). Can do cash.
We have a small wainscotting job For our living room. The room is 19x16 and the wainscotting will only be on 3 sides as there is a fireplace with built ins already in place. We have 3 doors and a bay window so the actual surface area is smaller.
The total sq ft of paneling is 120 sq ft. We would like the finish to be in shaker style with MDF.
I need a removable stair railing/picket system for my basement built and installed. 7 steps, boxed stairs. 50 degree incline. There's a 2x4 to build/stall on top of. I could show you a photo. Doesn't look like a complex job. I just need it to be removable since its the stairs to my basement and their narrow.

Bedroom # 1 (12 ft x 12 ft)

I have two nooks spaces in my living room that i would like fill in with floating shelves and cabinets. Attached are the photos of my living room and examples of what i want to get done.
In the example photos they have wood work done around the fireplace, i am not looking for any of that. What i am looking for are floating shelves with cabinets underneath in white, very clean and simple.
In the left space the TV will be either mounted on the wall with a shelf above it -OR- i may place it on top of the cabinet, if it can hold the weight. Inside the cabinets i would like drawers instead of shelves as well.
