We are looking for a company to refinish approx. 600 sq ft. of hardwood floors. We are looking to sand and varnish only (no stain). One of the floor areas is already raw wood since it has had carpet on it since the early 1960's.
This is a quick job we are looking to have done this upcoming week - any day or time.
Private home owner looking to refinish original hardwood floors with rough conditions in spots. The area is part of a kitchen and gets heavy traffic (walking, chairs sliding). There is also a pantry where the floor continues into. The total square footage including the pantry is 121 (7.9 f x 11.2f in main area and 8.2f x 4f landing extending into the closet). Photos attached (photos Floor_3 and Floor_4 show the most damaged area).
Please provide a quote including experience, number of workers and who (e.g. do you do the work yourself or do you sub-contract out), time frame (when can you do the work and how long will it take to do), procedure used to refinish the floor (including how you fix existing cracks, #of finishes/coats and quality of same), and information of warranty of work.
Thank you
An existing engineered hardwood floor in a condo. It is full of scratches from the previous owner. We take posession on Jan 24th and would like to start the reno as soon as possible. The square footage is 230 and it's the living room. We would like to stain it a different colour as well. It is currently a cherry colour and we would like to go to a black oak.
