We need to replace the tile and perhaps tub of our main second floor bathroom. I suspect there may be some structural problem beneath the tiled walls. Thinking of a surround tub? Open to suggestions. Appears we may have some leakage problem thru to the dining room plaster ceiling below. Prob need some minor plumbing work as well. Menkes built home, 15 yrs old.
Hello, I need a contractor to renovate a bathroom on the main floor of the house. Scope:
1. Create a 1.5 bathroom in the existing space.
2. The half bathroom needs to have a vanity and a toilet seat.
3. The full bathroom needs to have a Shower panel, Vanity with a counter top and a toilet seat.
Aprox 10 X 10 bathroom, need to rip up current ceramic tile, replace shower with glass shower, replace vanities with new cabinets and adding an extra"tower" for storage, would like new faucets and granite counters, there are two separate vanities now. we would also replace both. We would like to reuse the soaker tub but rebuild the "box" it is currently housed in to make it smaller, we would need all new ceramic tiles on the floor within the shower and around the tub enclosure.
We have an existing ensuite bathroom that is approximately 19 years old and in desperate need of gutting and re-building. The room is approximately 70 sq ft with a 60" vanity with toilet beside. There is a separate shower stall and soaker tub on opposite sides of the room. I would like to make the tub into a full shower stall with glass front and over-head lighting. I would like to change the existing vanity to a double vanity. I would like new tiles on the floor and a heated floor put in on a timer.
Hello I'm moving into the Georgetown area this weekend and would like someone to quote me on making a small change to an upstairs bathroom. It currently has a tub and we are looking to change it into a standing shower. Nothing fancy is required.
We are also looking at doing some other work in the summer:
- Barn door on master washroom
- Carpet running on stairs
- Fully finishing the basement
I am looking to renovate my half bathroom, I have flooring. I need to demo the existing washroom and replace the fixture etc. I also need an area of drywall replaced in my kitchen. Materials will be required. I have several outlets that need to be replaced. My main floor ceiling needs to be painted.
Hi guys,
We have a ensuite washroom, and a general four piece washroom that we would like to upgrade. The ensuite washroom scope would be to complete the removal of existing bath and separate shower and replace with a walk in shower, tile floor and walls, and floor to ceiling glass, everything except the vanity which has already been replaced. The demo has been started by myself. The main washroom scope would be replace existing tub and shower with a walk-in shower. There is also a reno we would like to do with our lighting in our kitchen. Replace existing California lighting with a form of pot lights. Hope to hear from you.
We are looking to tile our kitchen which is about 10 ft x 10 ft with Ceramic tiles. There is currently 2 layers of linoleum tile on the floor now. The house is 17 years old town home.
We also have a few other things (a power room and upstairs shower) to be fixed as well so we are looking for someone good and reasonably priced to help us with out reno's one at a time starting with the kitchen floor.
Our back windows (west facing) leak when there is a hard driving rain and we have been unable to find a reason for a leak. We have caulked and tried to recreate the conditions but have been unable to stop the leak. It is possible it could be a siding issue as we have siding on the house. The windows are also bay-type windows but without seating. At this point we likely have mold and need to find a solution while hopefully saving the windows. We also have a spare bathroom we are thinking of changing, but this is a secondary project and will depend on the extensiveness of the window issue.
Complete shower and subfloor replacement (42in x 33in)- ceramic tiles in shower and bathtub wall. Bathtub not being replaced. Replace glass shower walls and fixtures. Also replace one side of door framing as some leakage from shower has rotted door frame. Initial leakage also ran down to kitchen on first floor, drywall in kitchen ceiling needs replacing and painted (should only need 1 drywall sheet).
Own home.
Floor area approx 10' x 18'
Gut everything existing corner Jacuzzi tub, corner shower, cabinets toilet (seperate closet included in approx floor space).
Replace 1 window approx 36 x 36"
Remove drywall to studs along one exterior wall.
Rewire lights along exterior wall.
Replace tub, shower (possible reconfigure) cabinets, toilet etc.
New tile, including heated floor.
Short description
We have recently moved to an 18 year old house and have bought an OVE 60" glass sliding door shower door enclosure with acrylic base from COSTCO. We are now looking to hire someone locally to install this unit for us. We will demo the tub and tile wall currently in place in the bathroom, or, please quote to do the demo as well as the installation.
Unfortunately we are working with a SMALL budget and will be replacing tub only (the toilet and sink will be done at a later date).
Thank you,
Joyce
