I am building a new 3475 sq. ft home. Looking for an electrician to handle on the wiring need. An additional 1475 sq. ft. of basement will also be needed to be done as well as a triple garage. Experience working with SIP's would be great but is not necessary. Also will need cable run from the pole to a temporary post (about 70 metres) along with bell and cable wires. The trench work will be handled by others.
Drolet 1400 fireplace insert was installed in 2017 inside the prefab metal fireplace.
A pancake-looking adaptor connects the insert exhaust with the chimney line.
The problem: lots of smoke is getting to the room each time I open the insert.
Need a solution for the proper work of the insert. It can be as simple as adjusting the adaptor, to a more complex of cutting off the metal fireplace enclosure.
looking for a 6 man traditional sauna installation in my basement, i'm guessing around 8x8 but not sure. Electric heater and lighting no need for windows, maybe just one in the door

Need a quote to install 16 pot lights. Outside (15' high), on the perimeter of the house (under canopy). There's access from the attic. Power from bedroom plug (above plug mount decora timer), wall can be cut (taper on site). All materials including romex, connectors etc. and lights ( 4" retrofit PAR 20, Contrast) are supplied by owner.
Hi
Doing a kitchen reno. First week of Novermber in Georgetown. Can you quote the following:
This estimate includes all wiring, connectors and materials needed to install up to 7 LED pot lights, relocate the microwave receptacle, relocate the dishwasher electrical supply, relocate receptacle beside the fridge, relocate and rewire the receptacle beside the sink which include a 20 amp t-slot GFI receptacle and necessary upgrade of the wiring to that outlet, add 2 new receptacles to the “microwave” wall, wiring including switch and receptacle for the under cabinet lighting, removal of the phone jack, install necessary breakers for new outlets on the “microwave” wall, includes 2 dimmers for the pot lights, updating the existing outlets in the kitchen to new “decora” receptacles, switches, and plates. .
We will be moving into an older home on Oct. 11 and require some electrical updating. The house is currently running on two main 60 amp service lines (because of basement separate apartment and have two separate metres). We will be using the home as one family dwelling and have been told by insurance to update to 100amp service either at both circuits or the downstairs because that panel is fuses and needs to be converted to breakers. We would also like 5 GFIs to be installed. We will provide the GFIs. Lastly, we would like to have 2 fixtures (chandelier and ceiling fan) to be installed in our living/dining room which currently has no overhead lighting so the receptacles and wall switches would also have to be installed. We have received several quotes so far which have included package prices because of the quantity of work. Please provided package prices and all work must be completed by Oct 31. As well, the electrician must be able to provide a valid certificate of completion to our insurance company.
Our 8 yr old house has 6 pot lights in the living room that were poorly installed by the builder. We would like to replace them with one large celing light. The job would require replacing the drywall in the ceiling and a qualified electrician to redo the wiring. The room is approx 20' by 12 '.We have some money set aside ,but would appreciate an approximate estimate, before having you come onsite.
