I recently purchased a pull-down attic ladder and need it installed. It is slightly smaller than the opening, so will need a box built around it asclick here
We have a vent, and need it installed in the upstairs bathroom. Also, spray-on insulation is required for the skylight in the same bathroom.
We need two new sets of taps in the basement, as the old ones leak.
We need metal ventilation piping for the dryer and the range hood in the kitchen, as the current exhaust piping is flexible plastic.
We may also want to put a new light fixture in the basement.
Cell phone number is given, so contact me (Ryan) at any time if you want to set up a time to come by the house and take a look at what needs doing.
I own 10 residential places in Guelph and sometimes smaller issues come up.
It would be great to have a handyman to do some of the work.
For example, in this specific case. I have this list.
- Bedroom window not working (handle not working)
- Shower, when you pull the thing out to turn it from bath to shower it isn't working properly, had to use pliers to make it work
- Upstairs tap in bathroom.. very low volume tiny trickle of water that needs to be adjusted
In my other unit.
- Gate fell off and needs to be put back on
- Need new door handle on garage door
Thanks!
Mark
My basement renovation is almost finished, and I'm tapping out. I've spent too much of my personal time on evenings and weekends trying to finish this project and I'm at the point where I'd just like to pay a general contractor to finish this.
I am not a professional. I've been getting occasional help here and there from friends and family. I am happy with the quality of work that's been completed, but as previously mentioned, I'm ready to just move on. Here is the remaining work that needs to be completed in my 450 soft basement.
(DOOR INSTALL)
There is a small closet door located in the hallway that needs to be installed under my stair case. The door is already to go. It's been cut to size, hinges installed, etc.. Just needs to be shimmed and installed.
(TRIM WORK)
The main living area in the basement is finished in regards to doors, casing and trim. I've already caulked this area and chased the nail holes with drydex, The area however that does need to be completed is 1/2 of the hallway (side with the door mentioned above) and a fair amount in the stairwell. There is also a door located at the top of the stairs that needs to be cased. The nice part? All the materials have already been purchased. I just need someone who knows what they're doing to come in and finish this puppy up. Any new trim would obviously need to be caulked and nails filled as well. There is a hand rail that needs to be installed as well. This is on hand.
(TRIM, HAND RAIL AND DOOR PAINT)
Final step would be having someone paint the doors and trim. The paint is already purchased as well.
There are 4 doors to paint.
Materials are ready to go. Caulking, Cedar Shims, DryDex, Trim/Casing, Railing and Paint.
I have no doubts someone who knows what they're doing can finish this in two full days.
It's so close, but I feel like it's going to take me weeks to do this myself because I can only commit 60-90 minutes at a time.. and I am also not very quick.
I am located in the East end of Guelph and would like to have someone available to start ASAP. Please just email me your timeline and a ballpark quote to complete this.
Thank you!
