Ceramic tile installation; all materials provided
- 840 square feet of floor tile (150ft2 @ 6"x40", 410ft2 @ 18x18" and remaining 280ft2 @ 12x24") 4 various rooms
- bathroom shower wall 105ft2 with 14ft2 accent band in centre
- bathroom shower wall 95ft2 18x18 tile with tile edge trims
- bathtub wall horizontal 6x40" approx 78ft2 wall area with tile edge trims
We would like to have the ceramic tile in our foyer/powder room/laundry room (all the same area/floor) replaced with a different ceramic tile. Many of the existing tiles are damaged and the colour is not ideal. We would also like to have the ceramic tile in our main bathroom replaced with something less slippery and in a different colour.
The specs for the quote are as follows:
The floor space is approximately 21' by 30'
The existing flexible tile will have to be removed and floor has some obstructions (a window jogged back into floor space and a counter on the opposing corner)
~The first quote will need to be for new tile (flexible 12€ by 12€) installation
~The second quote will have to be a standard ceramic tile installation
Plaster kitchen ceiling damage (4 foot long bulging crack) and slight damage to bedroom ceiling due to leak in roof (roof has recently been replaced).
Bathoom - tiled wall in tub under window damaged due to rot from damaged tile caulking, needs repair, would also like quote for tub surround.
I want to replace approx 300 sq feet of ceramic tile with Travertine. I will remove kitchen cabinets and old flooring. I have an inlay that needs to be installed as well as 18 x18 tile. I would like the tile sealed. I will reinstall the kitchen cabinets once the job is completed. There is a sub floor already installed.
Please call to arrange a time to come and view the job.
Replace existing ceramic tiles with approx 350 sq ft of Travertine tile in kitchen. Included with tile is a 36" x 36" mosaic to be laid in entrance. Tiles will be supplied by homeowner. Home is 15 years old. All cupboards and existing tile will be removed prior to start of job. Floor must be cleaned and prepped prior to job and all tilework must be sealed upon completion. Holes must be drilled/cut in tile for plumbing to sink and dishwasher.
Although quality is my primary concern, price is also a factor. Contractor must be prepared to provide references for similar jobs within Guelph area.
We are currently having a small sun-room installed on our front porch (about 8 x 4 ft) and would like radiant heat and tile floor installed and updated light fixture. I would also like to get an idea for future projects to layout budgeting for removing front hall closet and fixing the floor, updating bathroom tile and vanity, updated back splash and maybe wainscoting. So a wide variety of projects over time but the tile and heat first.
Thanks!
Hello everyone!
I am looking for someone who can help my mom finish a DIY bathroom shower reno in her home. She is the owner.
What has been currently done:
New plumbing installed
3 cement boards installed and water proofed
initial tiles installed with adhesive
Dimensions:
Shower enclosure measures approx 6 feet high, 5 feet long and 2.5 feet wide.
Currently, the walls may need to be leveled out with Mortar (already purchased) to ensure an easier tiling job. May need have a new tub installed. TBD. Was hoping to just have current one re-glazed.
Budget is low as initially this was meant to be a low cost project. I am available today and tomorrow should you need to come and take a closer look. This is the only shower in the house so looking for someone who is available rather quickly. Picture in attached document.
