60 year old west mountain custom home with "good bones", 2-storey centre hall plan. Main bathroom upstairs is well past it's expiry date and needs to be completely replaced, right back to new flooring and drywall, fixtures, ceiling fan, electrical - everything. Two sinks, one standard tub/shower, one toilet and associated cabinets. About 55 sq. ft. Looking for quality and value, not high end.
Older double-brick home requiring a bathroom renovation. 2nd floor bathroom - 60 sq ft - next to kids' room.
You will need to:
- remove and replace old fixtures (we have a pedestal sink to replace old vanity currently there. Would like to get a new light fixture, deep claw-foot tub and eco-toilet and can either buy it separate or buy it from you, if the price and warranty are good)
- remove & re-do inner walls
- move the current piping back in our 2nd Floor bathroom
- re-tile the floor
- remove current window and return to original size with privacy glass or glass brick
Hi,
I am a Realtor and have a client that is in need of a small bathroom renovation. Work that needs to be done includes:
Tiling of floor, toilet and vanity removed/replaced, sink/shower faucet replaced, shower door removed and replaced, tub re glazed or replaced.
Is somebody available to provide me with a quote on this?
Thank you
Basement 3 pc bathroom 58 sq ft. Remove Mirolin shower and replace with tiled walls and glass doors, also seat in shower. Replace laminate floor with tile and possibly a heated floor, depending on price. Replace vanity top and sink with granite. No change to toilet. House is located on Hamilton west mountain and is 13 years old.
Our bathroom is 6 by 6 1/2 feet with a bathtub, sink + cupboard and toilet. Our plans are to install a new, water-efficient toilet (already purchased, stored in our garage) and a pedestal sink (to conserve space). We would like to remove the bathtub and install a shower instead (freeing up more space).
There are two closets outside of the bathroom that are not being utilized. My hope is to perhaps install a washer/dryer combo in one, or expand the bathroom slightly utilizing the space these closets could create. It may be possible to make our bathroom larger that way, but I'll need a pro to discuss options :)
Our home is about 62 years old, located in West Hamilton. The House is in great shape, however the bathroom tile is cracking from water leaking out of the shower/bathtub. Tiles continue up the entire bathroom wall, which I'm not crazy about.
I would love to retile the floor with a nice grey coloured tile and then perhaps utilize subway tiles halfway up the walls with drywall at the top. I would be happy to purchase the tiles, sink and other materials that are needed, but will be relying heavily on a contractor for guidance and installation.
Approx. 72 sq. ft. rectangular space. Home was built in the 60's. Need quote to replace floor, tiles, toilet, tub/shower combo, vanity/counter (want 2 sinks), mirror(s), minor electrical work, and add an exhaust fan. Interested in low maintenance products.
Would like tub with air jets (not jacuzzi) and shower fixtures and doors. Solid wood vanity from entry door to opposite wall with doors and drawers. Granite countertop, 2 undermount or low maintenance on countertop sinks, and faucets projecting from wall.
As it is difficult to accurately describe needs for anything other than a ballpark price quote, would like at least 3 complimentary inhome estimates by reliable contractors. For convienience, someone is usually available in the daytime for consultation with prior notice.
We just moved into our house 6 months ago. It was built in 1986. There have been few renovations, but the owners clearly did it themselves. Tiling, painting, drywall...... are done poorly. The bathroom upstairs is very outdated. There is leakage from the tub and the sink. The toilet is not energy efficient. It needs to be gutted. We have purchased materials already (tiles, bathtub, toilet, vanity, facet) and need someone to help tear apart the whole bathroom - redoing the drywall around the tub as well because of water damage - and putting in the tile, tub, toilet, vanity, and lights.

I have a very small 3 piece bathroom in need of finishing. The pieces that are in there now (toilet, pedestal sink and tub) are all new.. a year or so old and I would like to keep them. I need the walls done (tile surrounding the tub) and proper drywall put up.
We had a problem last year and the person who redid the drywall put it the wrong way and the tub surround that was put up is falling down. The bathroom project was never finished. I would like to finish it. Please give me a rough estimate before trying to book an appointment to view it.
We would like to instal a shower in our bathroom that is located below ground level. At the same time, the bathroom renovations would include a new vanity and toilet as well as a ceramic tile floor.
Since there has never been a shower, the job would include creating a drain in a concrete floor and knocking down a wall to allow for a larger area for the shower. We envision a glass shower with tile and possibly a marble base.
The renovations are to be done before Christmas for family that are staying with us. Could we please get a quote on this job?
Thank, Ann and Dennis H.
Tear out ceiling and shower walls, remove insulation, replace tub and surround, sink, toilet and door, replace walls, ceiling and insulation, install new medicine cabinet and ceiling exhaust fan, tape, spackle all seams, prime and tape ceiling, walls, and window and door frames, install porclein floor and new baseboard. Dispose of all discarded materials new and old. Bathroom is small roughly 6'x6' including tub area.Once project starts it must be completed, this house has only the one bathroom and once work commences my family will have very limited use of the bathroom until completion.
Our bathroom is around 2m x 4m large.
We are looking to have it completely renovated, with the following changes:
1. retiling of the floor
2. re-drywalling
3. vanity/sink and toilet relocated
4. washer/dryer combination installed
5. new wall added with a sliding door
6. ceiling repainted and lights moved
We would like work to start in Nov and finish by mid-Dec if possible. We will purchase fixtures and appliances so estimates should exclude their cost.
small bathroom, approx 5 ft by 10 ft
want to replace the vanity, sink and faucet, also mirror and light fixture
also would like to have the shower retiled-approx 8 feet high, 5ft wide and 3 ft deep
replace shower faucet
plan on keeping thecurrent ceramic floor
my building is hard loft conversion, was originally done over in 1998, 10 ft ceilings
We are thinking about possibly making over our main bathroom. The bathroom is not very large, it is approximately 5.5ft x 5.5ft (not including bathtub). We are looking at having the walls done, possibly wainscoting on bottom portion & painted on top portion. We are looking at installing a new sink as we don't want the pedestal sink that is currently there, we are looking for something that offers some storage. There is a large medicine cabinet taking up a whole wall which we would also like replaced. The toilet seems to be in ok shape (but I'm no expert). We are also thinking about having the floor done as well. The tub seems to be in good shape (with the exception of a couple dings), so basically the project is mostly cosmetic. Currently the walls have wallpaper (no idea why the previous owners would use wallpaper, its peeling off). We aren't totally decided on doing the project as it depends on the costs involved. We're not sure of the condition of the walls behind the wallpaper.
Started to renovate the bathroom several years ago, put vjoint pine and molding around the upper half of the room, the bottom is finished in white tile. The floor needs to be replaced and have purchased a counter sink, but the cabinet needs to be replaced and new fixtures. Will provide all necessary material, require a skilled renovator to complete this project. Only one bathroom in the house so is very difficult to be without one. Time is important once the project begins. No picture available at this time....
