I recently purchased a semi-detached bungalow on hamilton mountain. I would like a drywaller to do california ceilings in the three bedrooms. The ceiling surface in these rooms is flat. The measurements of these rooms are 13 X10 feet, 10 X10 feet and 9 X 9 feet. In addition I would like to have the living room/dining room done as well. It is a little more complicated as it currently has popcorn stucco on it and it has a slanted roof. It measures approximately 21X12 feet. I am uncertain of the age of the home, likely the late 60's or 70's. I will take possession May 4th. I would love to have the work done on the 5th and 6th when the house is empty. Could you please provide a quote.
We have a ceiling in our family room that needs repair due to water damage from heavy rain. The house is approximately 80 years old, but had a new roof in 2008. When we bought the house three years ago, we noticed water leaking in a specific area of our family room (12 x 6 area) in and around the area where the wall of our bedroom meets our family room ceiling. We noticed that there was never any flashing installed where the wall of our bedroom met the roof of our family room, so we had that added in the fall of 2010 hoping that would fix the problem. However, we have had three ceiling leaks since that time and they have only occurred during extremely heavy rainfalls. We would like to have the source of the leak repaired, as well as the ceiling where the water leaked.
I am getting water damage in my living room. It is under a window in an upstairs bedroom. We only get water coming in when the wind blows the rain against the window. The roof has been replaced recently, but the water is still coming in.
Find leak - likely in the window.
Please quote on repairing the leak & repairing stucco ceiling & wall.
Hello
I am looking to replace a plaster ceiling in my 1.5 storey home with drywall. A section of it started to sag last week and has fallen off. I would also like to add a hatch to the attic as there currently is none and replace the insulation. I am available after 4pm during the week.
Thanks
Chris
Walls have been removed and now the ceiling plaster needs to be repaired. We have patched the drywall and have applied some durabond 45 but it needs to be sanded and the plaster needs to be blended with the rest of the ceiling. There are also 2 previous light fixtures that have been removed and the 2 holes are still exposed.

A few years ago, we had siding put up on a dormer. Our house is 100 years old--the roof was replaced approximately 8 years ago. Since then, there is a leak that we have tried to have fixed. But it still leaks. Ideally, the siding needs to come off, the leak needs to be patched. Previously, people would just put a bunch of caulking to temporarily fix the issue. Our house is 100 years old--the roof was replaced approximately 8 years ago.
We need:
-Siding on dormer to be taken off.
-Leak repaired.
-Bedroom ceiling patched (where the leak would come through).
Serious inquiries only, please.
Small basement room about 250 square feet was drywalled, taped and mudded 1 year ago. After priming/painting, the ceiling looks really bad, especially with the pot lights off and you can see every imperfection during the day. I can't believe I paid for this work. I did the priming and painting but the mud job is sub par. Taping looks fine but the mud is brutal. Was thinking maybe it could be skimmed over and repainted.

We have moved into an older house with a slate roof and have a leak that has slightly damaged the ceiling in one of our bedrooms.
This job would require, identifying the source of the issue and identifying and any providing preventative measure that could avoid potential issues in the future.
Hello,
I had a loose shingle that allowed water to seep through and over-time it caused a portion of the ceiling in my living room to cave in. The ceiling appears to be 2 layers of drywall with plaster over-top. Looking to have it repaired, and also looking to add in 6 pot-lights in the ceiling.
We purchased a home and would like to have it painted and the popcorn ceiling (1250 sq. ft) removed before we move in. We get access to the house on April the 27th and move out of our current place on May the 3rd. Painting would begin on April the 28th and end on May the 1st (4 days).
Whole house painting 2,629 sq ft. Approximately 220 ft of high ceilings.
Would like trim painted.
Would like popcorn ceiling to be removed and ceiling repainted.
Would like to paint kitchen cabinets (approx. 40 separate doors and drawers).
Thanks,
Andre
Hi there,
I have a bungalow on the Hamilton Mountain, with a newly reno'd legal secondary suite. I'd bought the house mostly reno'd, and it looks like the ceiling was done without proper insulation and resilient channels. I was wondering if I could get a quote for redoing the ceiling with resilient channels (or Genie clips), Roxul, etc. It's approx 900 square feet.
Many thanks.
Dre
The size of the bedroom: 10'8" x 13'4".
The room is on 3rd floor being the attic of the house. I don't have measurements of the ceiling, but I attached a couple of pictures for you to gauge. Please note the ceiling has 2 ends being slopped to the wall.
Hope this helps,
Julia
