Good Afternoon,
We are looking for three quotations for the following work to be done:
1. Remove the drywall in the basement and the cold room, as well as the ceiling and dispose of all material removed. The basement is approximately 700 square feet. The house was built in 1890, but the walls were put up in the mid-1970's. There is a bathroom and a half kitchen in the basement that have to be removed and disposed of as well.
2. There is mould in the following areas of the house that has to be cleaned:
a. Basement Laundry Area
b. Main Level Kitchen Ceiling
c. Main Level Kitchen Sink Base Cabinet
d. Second Level Bathroom Vanity Base
e. Second Level Bathroom Ceiling (Ventilation Area)
f. Second Level Master Bedroom (Lower East Wall)
Mould remediation will consist of HEPA vaccuum and wet wipe the mould areas with mild soap and water as per inspection report. We have a mould inspection report that will be provided when contractor is onsite for an estimate.
3. A Plumbing Inspection to repair any leaks. Leaks that we have found are located in the basement laundry area (plumbing leak at water main), main level kitchen ceiling, main level kitchen base sink cabinet (plumbing leak at sink), second level bathroom base cabinet (plumbing leak at sink).
The financing for this project is being done by the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation Purchase Plus Program.
My house was built in 1920 there is water penetration on one wall.
Would like to know the best options for waterproofing the entire basement so it can be refinished at a later date.
The basement floors are very uneven and have been painted need to be leveled. Would also like point work around the entire house where needed and chimney.
2 Basement pole support beams need to be replaced including a horizontal support beam under the stairs.
I have a apprx 7 x 4 basement bathroom that has already been gutted down to the studs.
Will need to install drywall, fan, corner shower unit, toilet, sink/vanity, lighting, baseboards and vinyl flooring.
Many of the supplies have been purchased I just need someone to put it back together as I am running short on time myself.
Bathroom and kitchen renovation (2-phase). May need plumbing and wiring moved. May need to have an architect look at the possibilities. Considering adding 8' extension to link to external wall to add a window and remove the individual rooms. Right now we have a sep. toilet room and shower room within the 12x12 bathroom space. The kitchen is on main fl. below it and we are considering extending/opening it up by removal of walls and moving an existing powder room. Front double door is off centre and one of its doors is non usable because the kitchen cupboards are behind it. Existing photos attached.
We are thinking about converting a small bedroom, into a main floor laundry room. We live in a raised ranch detached house, with the 3 bedrooms on the same level. We would like to incorporate using the existing closet as the location for the stackable washer/dryer. The closet is on an outside wall, and above the finished part of the basement family room. So part(s) of the family room ceiling will need to be removed/replaced. Also, we are wanting to go with a gas dryer so the job will include gas piping, 2 duplex electrical receptacles, hot and cold water piping, water drain piping, and a vent pipe. We are hoping a 'cheater' vent fitting can be incorporated into the work, as opposed to running a fresh vent pipe outside and up to the roof. Also, we are hoping that the hot air exhaust for the dryer can go straight out the back of the closet, to the outside.
A large garage with 3 garage doors, room for 4-6 cars and work shop. plus and 1 apartment on the side. Steel and concrete, siding and perhaps board and batten with brick skirt. Plumbing (water and sewer) and heat and electric. Steel roof and a modern set of windows/ glass garage doors.
Thanks,
John
We have a century home in Hamilton that is currently a duplex but used to be a 4 plex. We want to convert it back to a 4 plex. This will require erecting a couple of walls and demolishing or breaking through a couple of walls. It will require building a couple of kitchens as well. A couple of bathrooms also need to be overhauled. There is a need for new flooring and, possibly, some new windows.
The house is 3000 square feet. The main floor kitchen was recently done and needs no work. The basement unit needs very little work. We need someone who is available in 4-6 weeks to being the work.

We would like to develop our third floor attic into a playroom for our children. The room would be roughly 15' x 12' and is fully insulated. It currently has some electrical plugs and light switches but may require additional electrical outlets and ceiling lights. We would like to have the space drywalled and vinyl flooring installed along with pot lights and a railing around the stairwell. Other options may include storage units under the dormers depending on budgets. We would be pleased to show the space to interested contractors during the day or evening.

I am a homeowner looking for a general contractor to quote on this work and is aware and has worked for the city of Hamiltons "Ontario renovates program" You must mention you have worked with the city, under this program for private homeowners.
I am an investor and I just purchased a house in Hamilton. It is a complete gut to the studs job and it requires demolition and rebuilding of the entire interior. I am looking for a contractor that would like to develop long term working relationship and must be experienced in all areas of construction including city permits process.
You must be insured and dependable.
Hi - I am looking for a contractor to make some structural changes (removing a wall between kitchen and living room - support wall) as well as a complete overhaul of our home.
We are looking to have quotes to renovate top to bottom to update our older home in Hamilton Ontario. We would be looking at new Furnace/ AC as well.
We have lived in the house for 12 years but it was my grandmothers house so I am having a hard time envisioning the changes so I am looking for someone with knowledge and expertise to help us visualize our updating. We are willing to go down to studs and start from scratch and have someone tell us what works with the space we do have. - Price wise we are not opposed to an addition if the price is right as well.
We are in a Two story 3 bed 2 bath home on the Hamilton Mountain. We currently have a finished basement as well but the home is in need of updating and modernizing to better suit our needs.
So we are looking for someone who can handle the entire project on their own if at all possible - We want someone we can work along with and also to give the free reign to make some suggestions on the renovation as well.
Phone Number will be available upon Request for Phone Conversations.
Thanks
Amanda

We have a 2 story brick home. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms..on one side there is adequate attic space to allow for a dormer and hence a 2 piece bathroom. We only have 1 bathroom at present and are in need of one upstairs. The dormer would sit directly above the downstairs bathroom which would allow for plumbing I presume. Our house is also in need of a roof.
Thank You
I own a 2.5 story, brick home in Hamilton, ON. Currently, the attic space is finished, but a small dormer is required to allow proper entry. There are stairs leading up, but the slope in the roof means you must bend down to get into the attic.
We are looking for assistance with a plan and estimates, so we can then obtain a permit and schedule the work to make this a useable space! We are hoping to installation complete prior to October 2021.
Please feel free to email or call.
We are looking to have a dormer installed on the south side of our rental property with the purpose of creating extra space for moving in larger furniture. We are looking at a 5'x6' dormer without a window, as the neighbour's roof would obstruct any view anyway. It is a two story house, probably near a hundred years old. There is decent attic space. Thank you.
Looking to dormer out both side of my roof, either partially or almost the whole roof. Looking for quotes on both options to gauge how much I can do for now. Either would be a shed style. If partial one room is 95" X 135" and the other side is 85" X 97". Full house would require better measuring based on any standards that need to be met.
Hi, I am looking to get a few small projects done that I am unable to do. We need a hole cut for a dryer vent through cement block in our basement. Window 45 inchs by 45 inchs and door trim in our kitchen. I need someone who can do the finer work. we have a leek in our roof that I believe starts with an issue with the siding. We are the owner of the house
