I have a bathroom reno job that was started but not completed. My old shower was removed, as was my toilet, vanity, and flooring. I need to have a partially completed knee wall removed and reconstructed, which will form one wall for a glass shower. I have purchased the new replacement items, including the tile. I'd like a competent renovator that can get the job done within the next few weeks, and at a reasonable cost, please.
Our bathroom is approximately 8 x 8 on the main floor. The house is about 60 years old. We just moved in 2 weeks ago and I noticed some problems in the bathroom that need repairing.
Work to be done and materials:
- new floor (it is uneven and rotted in places)
- new ceramic tiling (currently vinyl flooring)
- new vanity installed with quartz countertop
- new backsplash around vanity
- replace pocket door with real door
- replace drywall (leaking around window)
- new window installed
- new bathtub and plumbing
Would like quotes on the following project:
Complete 4pc Bathroom Reno (approx 4' x 10')
-replace vanity (6 1/2' w/single sink) with custom double sink vanity

& more
Im looking to change my bathroom. this is an older home, room is approx 6feet wide and 12 feet long, I wish to change where the entrance of the washroom faces out to the upstairs landing to add length to the room, move the tub down and then add a double/ full sink. I have tile from floor up the wall approx 4feet and it surrounds the tub as well. I would like to due this reno on as tight of a budget as i can. Thanks for any interest. or advice.
BATHROOM I bought a house, deal closing June 12. I need to have a tub removed and a walk in shower with safety rails put in. The tub area has recently been tiled in white and if possible these could be left and more tile added. If you feel you could estimate this job on the 15th or 16th of June and be preparred to finish the reno by July 15th please let me know. I will be taking three quotes only and making a decision immediatley after. The lowest bid will not necessarily be chosen. Quality, experience and references will determine my choice. Our bathroom needs immediate renovation. It is original to the house (1972) with a pink sink, towel bar and toilet paper holder. The toilet and tub are newer (white). The floor is very, very cheap laminate and the water has gotten underneath. We're not sure if this is because the floor seam is where you step out of the tub or if there is water leaking from the pipes inside the wall. We want to replace our vanity, get rid of our bathtub and install a large shower, replace the flooring and perhaps all the drywall in the bathroom. I don't think the drywall is the correct type for a bathroom. The paint is peeling from the ceiling and the fan doesn't seem to draw the air out. I'm not sure if the fan vents to the outside or just into the attic. We will need a design plan as we are a little stumped on what should go where. There will be wiring issues (we have aluminum wiring), plumbing may need to be moved, drywall replaced and maybe a wall moved. We are not sure of our budget quite yet but as this is the main bathroom in the house, we would like it to be as upscale as we can manage. I wish for online estimates only.
Hi there,
I live in a townhouse condo about 20 years old. When I first bought it there was a leak from the main bathroom going into the celing of the half bathroom. I have lived here for 14 years now and no sign of any leaks after they fixed it. I"m thinking in behind the walls there could be mold. We put a liner over the tiles so I want this all removed. The bathroom in the winter is freezing . I don't think they insulated the walls when they built the condo. I would like a new tub, Tile floors, Tiles on around the shower and a new sink.
Thanks :)
Existing Shower area is approximately 8 feet high and about 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 feet (3 walls, one open)
Bathroom area excluding shower is about 8 feet in height and about 4 x 4
Would like shower to be enlarged to approx. 3 x 3 x 4 if tile stall option 2 is chosen.

We are looking to renovate an old 70's bathroom.
The biggest part of the job we need help with is removing the current tub which is standard length and width with a shower and replacing it with a new tub, preferably 21 - 22 inches in depth and keeping the shower.
If possible we would like to keep the old tile as it is around the whole bathroom and we are going to have it painted.
We would also like a few pot lights installed instead of lights over the vanity.
We've already selected a vanity.
Thanks!!

We have a small one piece shower insert in our master bath that we would like to change to a larger glass shower - very much like the image you have pictured from the Ambelside home. In fact, I suspect the layout of our bathroom is quite similar to the one featured. We would like our new shower to have glass enclosure, a rainforest head and adjustable shower head on slider bar. We can provide the fixtures and remove the existing unit.
I just purchased a home that is 50+ yrs old. I am looking to do renovations on my main floor bathroom ASAP! It's really dated and could definitely use a more modern look. The bathrooms approx. 70 squared feet, including the closet. I have already started ripping out some of the unwanted material in the space, but I am in need of some assistance in putting in the new pieces that we are looking for. I would like to place a stand up shower in the one corner beside the existing toilet, then place a larger (potentially his and hers sink) vanity on the opposite wall. The plumbing is all there, it's just a matter of replacing all the pieces. I also would like to put down new tile flooring, and maybe go up the walls a couple feet with tile as well. If you think you can do this job for a competitive price please contact me ASAP. Thanks!
