I would like to have someone drill holes, set sono tubes, pour concrete pillars, install brackets to attach framing to. They must be set below frost line to ensure stability through winters. The pillars will need to support a new 18 x 40 workshop, and 10 x 15 attached deck off rear of workshop. It will also need supports for a small (6 x 6) entry deck with ramp built up to the entry door (for wheelchair accessinto the workshop).
The I want the base framed with floor joists (2x10's) for a rectangled shaped workshop, 18 x 40.
The floor base will need to be sheeted with plywood.
The small entry deck, ramp, and attached rear deck will need 4x4 posts set. and 2 x 8 framing of base. (I will install the exterior deck boards.)
The base MUST be square and level, and securely tied to the concrete pillars.
I then want the walls framed in with (2 x 6), standard roof trusses set and exterior walls covered with sheet plywood, including roof sheeted with plywood. I want plastic sheeting on exterior walls to protect until siding can be completed.
Wall framing will need to include rough openings framed for 1 standard ext door, 1 set of exterior french doors (6ft), and 4 windows.
I will install windows and doors, complete exterior siding, shingle roof.....and complete all interior work.
I need the project completed by May 30, 2009.
Please provide your costs (itemized for labour and supplies).
I would prefer a materials list for all lumbar to purchase on my own, and then be billed for remaining materials and labour.
Please include in your quote workmanship guarantees, and confirmation that work can be finished by deadline.
Please provide 3 references for similar work completed.
My lot size is 100 x 200, and my home sits on part of property. The workshop will be placed to side/rear of existing home, and close enough to back corner that we can eventually consider creating walkway to existing structure.
Our priority is the timeline, quality, and cost.
I look forward to the estimates to begin work quickly, complete by May 30/09.
I have an existing concrete porch and cast-in-place concrete steps that we have been demolishing this weekend. It is taking us longer than expected because the density of the concrete in the steps is taking forever for the breaker we rented to do it's job. We are looking for this to be done asap as we were planning next weekend to build the new (wood) porch.
We are also looking to have 3 holes dug for 12" sonotubes and 1 hole for an 8" sonotube. The first 3 are for the porch, the last one is for a fence gate on the side of the house.
Address is in Old South, London near Wharncliffe and Springbank.
We're looking to have 4 Concrete reinforced posts dug in and placed at the back of our facility. 2 posts will be used as an anchor for a winch, the other 2 for a pull point. We're trying to simulate 40,000 lbs of pressure(pull) meaning the posts must be able to withstand this without breaking or coming out of the ground.
A locate request has been submitted with Ontario 1 Call and they will be done within the next 5 business days. Looking to have the posts installed afterwards.
We are looking at a standard wood fence about 56 feet long plus gate and for the concrete we would like a couple different quotes based on the areas we are looking at. Potentially a walkway the length of the house (58 feet and then one or two patio areas in the back 12x12 and 10x17).
Evenings and Wednesday/Sundays work better for us for quotes.
Thanks,
Tara & Dave
Over time the stoop (6' X 4" X8") has settled making it difficult to enter and exit the house. I would like the stoop levelled so the step is lower in the front and higher in the back. The stoop is made of cement. Once levelled I would like a wrought iron railing installed on the stoop. We are getting older and having a railing to hold on to would be helpful.
I have an existing concrete porch that needs to be replaced (footings, walls, stairs and cap). The porch is 15'x6' approx 7' tall walls. The existing porch will be need to be removed and more excavation is required. I have drawings and engineering for the new porch already. If you require any more info or would like me to send you the drawings and engineering, I can certainly do that.
Hello there, we are looking for a quote to dig and set 4 sono tubes 18" dia 4 ft deep. Two of them are on an existing concrete pad that will require cutting out the concrete then adding the said sono tubes etc.
We are just waiting for permit to be finalized and also may be another month before they can start the Pavillion. Drawings show the locations and concept.
Thanks,
Pete
Ps I will send drawings when you respond.
Garage is metal clad siding with wood trusses and frame. Size is approx. 13x20'and and a simple gable-end structure where the garage door is located. It is wood framed with wood trusses. It is in relatively good condition with a new roof just added, but the original structure has the bottom plate directly on the concrete and rainwater has a tendency to collect in the garage, due to the slope of asphalt driveway and general slope of the lot.
We need to have it raised approx. 8-12" due to also wanting to get a new garage door which requires more height as well.
Concrete pad is okay but has some cracking due to a tree root (but tree has since been removed), so this would also require some work.
1950's ranch style home needs front doorstep repair. Its a 9x14 concrete porch with a concrete cold room underneath which supports the structure. The supporting walls are deteriorating and one corner of top pad is also broken. I am not just looking for a patch job I am looking for a more permanent solution.

House 2: (I would prefer a contractor who is acceptable to use me as labour for projects 4 & 5)
Project 3: driveway concrete
Project 4: new mud room addition
Project 5: Reno upstairs to open concept
We are looking for 2 concrete slabs for our backyard, one for a hot tub and one for a shed. The hot tub pad is 8x8 and the shed pad is 9x11, both about 4-5 inches thick.
We are hoping to have it done ASAP however it must be done before October as that's when our hot tub will be installed. Please let us know a timeline and a cost and any other information you might need?
Thanks!
Sarah
