We are looking to receive estimates for removal of hardwood in our dining room and living room, as well as ceramic tile in our front entrance, kitchen and back hall. The kitchen has been recently renovated so the cabinets cannot be dismantled and the tile will need to be removed around the cabinets. We will be replacing the flooring with hardwood in all areas.
I would like to install new flooring on my mainfloor. We are looking at close to 500 square feet of flooring. Would also like to have a fireplace removed so drywalling will need to be done as well. Depending on the price I would like cermaic in the kitchen and either laminate or hardwood through the rest of the mainfloor. If it is too pricey then I will just do laminate. I right now am only looking for online estimates. So I can have a ball partk figure.
I need someone who has real good experience in hardwood flooring.

2) to replace carpets from 3 bedrooms (13.9' x 11.8', 11.4' x10.0', 11.4' x 9.5') with laminate.
Please give breakdown of

Looking for someone with at least 5 years experience in the field to install ~750 sq ft of laminate flooring (12mm thick, 5" wide planks) into a condo. Old floor stripped down to concrete, baseboards also off. Flooring, underlay, and transition strips are already in the condo, just need to bring tools and experience. A few odd angles to deal with. Must be able to get it done within the next week or two (before end of August).
References of previous work would be appreciated.
Need laminate flooring done on the 2nd floor of a 1.5 storey house - there is just painted floorboard up there at the moment. Approx 300 square feet, not picky on colour, type, etc just the most inexpensive option, as this is a rental. Just need a quick basic quote! Some quotes I have received from Home Depot, Lowe's, etc have been outrageous.
Thank you!
Area: Living Room dining room and 1 hall. This is approximately 360 square feet. The hall area has 4 doors and an arch that will require transitions pieces. The living room dining room will require a transition piece installed for the kitchen. The living room as a sliding door and a built in angled fireplace by the door. The floor is a cement floor underneath.
Job: To remove and dispose of the existing floor and then to install a new 12 mm laminate with underlay and to install the transition pieces. Basically a nice clean full job.
Optional: I can get the laminate, underlay, and transition pieces and have them on site for the installation. I was looking a $1.76 a square foot for the flooring. If you have a better option I will look at what you have.
I am at work 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Listed phone number is my home number. The condo unit is one that I rent.

Several room reno on the main floor of a ranch in Byron:
Kitchen
Sunken living room
Bathroom
Dining room
New flooring through the whole main floor, including three bedrooms.
Looking for quotes locally from trusted contractors as we have no idea about cost, time needed etc for a project such as this. The reno does not need to start right away, we are very realistic that contractors are busy but would like to get an idea of cost, timing, plans, designs etc
Thanks so much
Looking to re-finish original hardwood flooring in purchased home. Approximately 500 square feet, 3 rooms total - 2 bedrooms, small hallway and living room. I would like to even out the look of the flooring and smooth out the worn areas. No furniture in any of the rooms to work around or move.
I have removed a couple of walls, coverting into an open concept. There was already wood flooring in two of the three rooms I am joining. I am looking for someone to:
1) Lay the new hardwood interlacing with the old hardwood floors which would make a seamless complete floor - there is about 15 feet of ends to join into the new floor. (approximately 160 sq feet of new floor to lay).
2) Repair the existing hardwood (i.e. there are a few holes and squeaks)
3) Refinish the existing hardwood (sand & stain & finish - approx. 300 sq feet)
4) Prepare the new hardwood (bought unfinished so I am guessing sand & stain & finish - 160 sq feet)
To: Rip out existing floor carpeting (19'8"x29'3") living room area
Supply and install Sierra hardwood flooring (19'8'x29"3)living area
Install Aqua-bar vapor barrier
Supply baseboard, quarter round as required
Paint and supply baseboard installed
Dispose all unwanted materials after completing the job.
Hi.
We have a house built in 1952 and a 360 s.f. kitchen that was recently demo'ed down to studs. The floor has about 5 or 6 layers of old floor that we can't get up because it is nailed, screwed and glued....... And yes there is even a layer of old kitchen carpet!! I think our only solution is cut it, and the subfloor out down to the floor joists and replace with new T and G 3/4" . 70% of the basement ceiling underneath is open and accessible. We need a pro!
Thanks
I am wanting to a contractor to buy and install vinyl flooring throughout a chiropractic office of which I am the lease holder. There is a little less than 1400 square feet of flooring throughout. If you need room dimensions or want to come by, we are in the office from 8-7 Monday through Thursday.
Currently, there is carpeting throughout most of the office but I will remove that myself. Hardwood flooring in under the carpet.
