Good evening: I have a few renovation items I would like to discuss in a new condo. First, I have a modular (non custom) wardrobe in my bedroom which is cutting off part of the window due to its size. It may need to be removed or modified and it is not dry walled in behind. I think it would also require trim modifications and ceiling work. I would also like to discuss lighting in this room. I would also like to discuss my flooring (tile in kitchen and bathroom and luxury vinyl in rest of space) and a fireplace mantle. I also would like to discuss a back splash and a barn door, I also have some built ins I might like. Thanks!

I am looking for quotes to build a 10x10 box to be used as office. 3 wall or 4 wall. it will remain indoors.
It requires 1 door, 1 window (36x48 for ideas) and a hole for a window shaker AC. and lighting.
I don't want high end and it probably will be hit by a forklift at some point. So windows can be plexiglass, the door can be an interior door. the hole for the window shaker only needs to accommodate a 5000BTU unit.
This would be a good project for an apprentice.
New oak kitchen railing installed and finished, new linen closet in masterbedroom with shelving and doors, any drywall completely finished, new 2 panel bi-fold doors on closets in three bedrooms installed and painted, 9 2 panel interior doors installed and painted with stained trim and door jams, new door knobs installed. Have picture of the look we would like for the doors. New deck floor and railing.
I'm looking to add a non-load bearning interor wall and a door.
1) add interior wall ( 9x8 feet) - just a straight wall.
2) cut existing drywall and add matching door, 6 panel door.
3) electrical work for light switch and outlets
4) paint
5) baseboard for the new wall
Also have a fence post that needs replacement with a lattice.
I wish to replace an existing single story kitchen addition that was poorly built on pressure treated lumber foundation. I would like a new 2 story addition in its place, with a kitchen on the 1st story and a bedroom on the 2nd. The addition will require a proper foundation, be tied into existing double brick century home and have a stucco exterior. The structure will be approximately 12'x18'. Mid-end finishes.
This project is to tear out old cabinets in a Galley Kitchen 6.8 feet x aprx 5 feet, and to relocate the cabinets to the laundry room. As well the bathtub needs to be taken out and a new bathtub that fills the same space but with a jacuzzi in its place and the sink and cabinet are to come out. The small half bath needs the cabinet and basin pulled out. The tub will need an electrician to help install. We have new cabinets being installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We would like ceramic flooring to be installed in these bath rooms which are very small. The bathroom with the tub is 7.5 feet x 5.3 feet. The bathroom with the sink and toilet 5.4 x 4.4 feet. Therefore the ceramic flooring is to be installed out of the remaining floor space in those rooms.
Hi, I'm seeking a contractor to fix issue with
kitchen floor extension (punchout) dropping slightly on exterior wall due to cantilever joists not to code length on inside. This has caused some issues inside such as tiles cracking and sliding patio door misaligning.
Solution requires extension of floor joists, as supported by architectural drawings.
Laundry Room: New cabinets. Remove closet and replace with built ins to match the laundry room cabinets
New flooring (tile) and a pocket door separating the laundry room and the kitchen.
Kitchen/Dining Rm: New cabinets (don't need to be custom because I'm trying to keep the cost down). Pot lighting. New patio door and the floor vent will need to be moved to the correct location. New flooring. New light fixture over dining table. Some walls may need to be scaled back.
Powder room: Tile floor
Den and Living room: New flooring. Harwood flooring through the entire main floor (tile in the powder room and laundry room. New baseboards and door frames.
Possibly a new modern staircase?
Need someone with a designer or who IS a designer to be able to pull this all together.
I have a small Kitchen, about 10 x8. I have a thin floor, so I would require subflooring to be laid down for tiling the floor.
I am not looking to spend a lot, just to make my ugly floor look better so I am happy to walk into my kitchen.
I will require the baseboards to be removed and probably replaced as well.

- replace toilet
- install 24" vanity and faucets and fix leaking pipe where it attaches to waste line
- repair door (previous owner hung a new door, but door knob now does not meet hole in the opening to close door)
Upstairs Bathroom (approx. 36 sq. ft.)
- install ceramic tile on floor
- replace existing receptacle with a GFI receptacle
- install new 36" vanity and faucets
- install new shower head and faucets

Electrical in Living Room
- 2 receptacles are ungrounded and need to be fixed
Kitchen
- install new counter and sink with faucets (dimensions unknown - small "L" shaped counter - and I do have pictures)
- fix leaking plumbing pipes from dishwasher
Basement
- repair the bulkhead covering ductwork - it is sagging as it appears the drywall was not installed properly. Would have to be removed and re-done.

MBR - 14.8 x 13.6
BR2 - 11.8 x 8
BR 3 - 9.11 x 8
Living Room - 13.2 x 14
Electrical Panel in Basement
- one circuit has double-tap and should be fixed
Thank you
Hello, I am looking to have a 1920 carriage house (wooden building) straightened and sills installed. In its original construction, the structure was installed without footings so it is sinking into the soil on one side. As well, I would like the wood on the front replaced. Thank you for your consideration.
Currently two storey century home, upper and lower units. We want to take advantage of the space for our family and change to single family home by adding enclosed stairway to connect lower door and upper door. This would also also involve a deck. We want the capability of returning to separate units; when we are ready to purchase another home; by adding a secure door in the stairway.
This was suggested to use by a Commercial contractor as our upper and lower doors are in line.
We have sketched plans for this project to provide a full explanation.
Our house needs quite a few updates and repairs with the following being a priority:
- Install bathroom in basement (needs to be finished before May 31)
- replace shingles on roof
- repair cement on front porch and add a rail
- exterior caulking and brick re-pointing
- repair chimney for wood burning fireplace
- three new windows
- assess wet areas in basement for possible repair
