A standard 2-car garage with concrete floor has a lot of cracks and not leveled properly. I want to have the concrete removed and re-done properly.
I'm Markham, Ontario. The closest intersection is Hwy #7 and Main Street (Markham - hwy 48). A rough estimate on how much it's going to cost is always appreciated if you choose to contact me.
On the end of my concrete patio slab, the part that overhang's the foundation is falling off and chipping.
It is slowly eroding and falling off in chunks. The porch slab is about 14 feet by 10 feet.
The house was built in 2002-2003.
I am looking for a price quote to have the problem repaired. Thank-you.

I had my front walkway done by a local contractor a couple years ago. Last year I had a guy come back and re-seal it. Now after the winter it appears that the seal on top has deteriorated in various areas, causing a great deal of discoloration. These discoloration parts are not smooth like the rest of the concrete. What are my options here? I'd like to have the color in these areas restored. Is this even possible? Do i have to get everything re-done?
All the best! James
I am posting this for my Brother who is need of a contractor to quote on a job in Markham.
The job requires framing, pouring and stamping. He requires someone to meet him at the job site Mon-thur 5pm-5:30, this week or next. You may call him directly. Steve. He has informed me that he framing in not critical, he can do it if it is not part of the work you do, You can email me back if you wish also.
I'm looking to place a shed in the backyard and need to put a simple foundation using concrete slabs. The shed is approximately 8 feet by 8 feet. The project should include the removal of the grass, not just putting the slabs directly on top. Also would like the removal of the material that are dug up to be included.
Looking to have a floor repaired. Need to have existing concrete taken out from a 10 x 16 sq. ft area. Need to have a 35 MPA concrete mix poured and finished. All work to be done indoors in our production facility during our holiday shut down period. December 22 2012. Must be insured and meet regulations before persuing.
The concrete floor in my garage is not leveled and has many cracks. It needs to be topped with more concrete to fill the cracks and get it levelled. It's a 2-car garage and will be used for storage as the cars will be parked on the driveway (not a lot of weight on the concrete floor).
Please include the following (I understand these might change once you look at the garage floor):
1. A rough estimate of how much it's going to cost me.
2. A rough estimate of how long you think it will take.
3. When can you start on the project.
The unfinished basement floor has heaved and cracked. I want to break open the floor and address the issue and re-pour the basement floor. Total area is 900 sq. ft. However about half of it needs to be redone. There is no window, but have to user the U-shaped stairwell to move materials. I want estimate to
1) break the floor,
2) remove broken concrete pieces (big ones) out,
3) remove some dirt as needed,
4) set aside the gravel if any on a side in the basement.
5) refill gravel for at least 6"
6) place Vapour Barrier
7) pour concrete, with rebar if needed, to building permit.
Give me the estimate, by sq.ft. area of the basement or by the material like to remove one cubic yard and pour one cubic meter for the rough estimate of the cost.
I'm looking to relevel the interlocking driveway as it slightly slopes towards 2-car garage. Water has leaked under concrete garage floor and as a result front section of floor has cracked and sunk in several places. I'm thinking that concrete floor needs replacement but await professional input. I'm looking to have project done in July.
Please provide rough estimate understanding that you'll confirm final quote upon sight evaluation
I am looking to Build a Patio in the Backyard with Stamped Concrete and also the Front Walkway matching the patio. Here are the Details.
In the Backyard i currently have 6 concrete slabs of 2.5' x 3.0' . From the Kitchen there are 2 steps down that lead to the backyard. The rest of the backyard has grass. The Patio Size i am looking for is 10 Feet x 20 Feet and it should be the shape of a Kidney Bean as shown in the picture 684 above.
The Patio should be about 1 step thick and there should be one round step from the kitchen on to the patio. The above image is about a flagstone patio but it is included for understanding the shape.
In the front approach walkway to the house is currently with concrete slabs and the total dimensions are 3 Feet x 17 Feet. From the front door outside there is a small Landing platform of the size 5 Feet x 5 Feet and then Three Steps Down. I want the Concrete Pattern to be such that from the front door including the Platform and the Steps and the Walkway should all resemble the same Stamped concrete upto the driveway.
Overall the Pattern can be decided later but please include any samples that you can suggest so we can decide. Also send me quote for everything included from soup to nuts like, Digging, getting rid of Soil, Raw Material, Labour etc etc. No Hidden Charges please.
