I'm looking for someone to tile my bathroom. I have built a raised platform for a free-standing bath tub, and covered it and the adjacent surrounding walls with DensShield. The approximate area of the platform is 89" by 55" = 34 sq. ft. I want the walls tiled approximately 48" high surrounding the platform; the three adjacent walls are 55" + 89" + 55" = 199"; therefore, this would come to 66 sq. ft. Finally, the remainder of the floor is solid concrete (currently, there are a few vinyl tiles loosely stuck down) that has a hole for the toilet and needs to be leveled slightly and then tiled; it is also 89" by 55" = 34 sq. ft. Finally, the front lip of the raised platform is 89" by 9" = 6 sq. ft. The total area to be tiled is approximately 140 sq. ft. I have purchased all of the tiles (4" X 12" white subway porcelain tiles for walls, 6" X 24" oak-look porcelain tiles for floor), mortar, glue, grout, reducer, etc., from Markham Ceramic Tile and was hoping to do the work myself, but just don't have the time. Please would you let me know whether you are interested in this job, the timing, and the approximate cost. Many thanks, Chris.

We would like to drywall over a small wall where there is an existing wood fireplace. It measures 96" h x 76" w. There is currently power for a fan for the wood fireplace that we would like to convert into an outlet to plug in an electric fireplace that will be hung on the same wall. We also need to tile the bottom hearth. We are not in a hurry but if anyone is available to complete before the new year would be great.

We are looking to do hardwood on the main floor as well as 2nd floor and tile the hallway and kitchen. We will be purchasing our own tiles and hardwood and are just looking for experienced tradesmen to lay them down. It will be approx. 1000-1400 sq. ft of hardwood and approx. 800 sq. ft of tiling. Please let us know how much you charged and thank you
We would like to install ceramic tiles in our kitchen and foyer. Right now there are vinyl tiles there. The kitchen is around 200-250sqft and the foyer probably around 100-130sqft. We already have the tiles, we just need them to be laid by a professional (we don't have grout or anything else that might be required).
Another possibility is that we'd like to lay hardwood flooring in a couple of the bedrooms (they now have wall-to-wall carpeting). Each bedroom is probably around 150sqft. We also have the hardwood floor planks already.
I'm guessing the house is around 40-50 years old.
Right now I'm looking for an online estimate, but we'd like to complete the work in the next few weeks (ie. Dec-early Jan) if the price is right.
Thank you all for your time!

I had bathroom renovated in 2011.
Stand-in shower is completely tiled
I noticed cracks in grout for tile on bottom of wall below where glass door swings open
I was removing grout, and noticed tile was loose,
Tile came completely out
Backing was still on tile - not attached to wall behind
wall has black covering, which i believe makes it waterproof
water had leaked out and damaged kitchen ceiling below
appears to possibly be mold behind where tile was - will buy mold killer spray
not sure if other tiles need to be removed.
Remove approximately 6-8 (12x24) shower stall wall white marble tiles (I have extras). Shower stall is 4x4. Replace with water-proof grout, re-caulk, re-tile, and re-seal entire shower stall.
Tiles have been damaged by water absorption (improper caulking or improper sealing prior to installation?).
