1) I have a direct vent gas fireplace that I would like to have inspected for any fire hazards. This particular fireplace has a horizontal vent that exists to the backside of the house.
2) I have not had any type of cleaning done to the exhaust vents ever since i moved in nor am I sure if it needs to be cleaned.
I'm looking for an honest professional to do this job. I'll also be comparing various offers and will go with the most reasonably priced.
We need a vent installed in our dormer for our new ceiling fan. The fan is installed it just needs the exhaust vent installed in the roof of the dormer. The access to the dormer is completely open and easy to get at from inside to seal and hook up the vent pipe. We would like this done ASAP so we can close up the roof of the bathroom.
The job is in Milton and it it ready to go right now. It consists of installation of galvanized sheet metal heating/cooling ductwork to the specifications of the heat loss calculation for a 550 sq ft addition to our home. The ductwork required will include hot and cold air plenums. The new section where the ductwork needs to go is all framed in now (all new construction) and roofed and consists of living space over a new garage area. The ductwork will service the living area and will be spray foam sealed to isolate it from the garage space against both air and heat exchange. Please advise your interest. Only skilled, insured tradespeople need apply.
I have a FirstCo. (SPXA Series) Packaged Heating/Air Conditioning Unit installed inside an apartment. The heating has stopped working - when the thermostat is set to heat, the unit turns on, and there seems to be hot water on the inlet, but the air coming out of the unit is not warming the apartment. The cooling works fine when the thermostat is switched to cool.
This unit is 3 years old, and was heating fine in the past. I have checked with the Property Management firm and the Boilers are functioning fine, and have just been recently serviced.
I need estimates for the labor to do the repair. The location is in Milton, Ontario.
Install full, forced air system including A/C and natural gas furnace. Conversion from electric baseboard heat. 1400 sq ft, 1.5 storey home, built early 80's. Basement semi-finished. Natural gas line already run from street to house (no connection or meter yet). 200 amp existing electrical panel. Dimensioned floor plans for each level available. Install requires: HVAC equipment, gas and electric hookup, duct work install and finishing.
I live in a townhouse in Milton Ontario that is about 1300 sq ft. I'm looking to upgrade to a mini split heating & cooling system. I have 3 bedrooms on the top floor, living room/kitchen on the main floor and a basement. Preferably I would like to have a condenser unit installed that can support 4 to 5 output units. I would need a quote that includes the total cost (including installation)
House is over 30 years old. Age of present furnace unknown. Would like new furnace to be as compact and energy efficient as possible. Home is an end unit townhouse with a basement level, living, dining and kitchen main level and 4 bedroom upper level. Warm air going to the upstairs is never enough to keep the upstairs as warm as the main level. Quality is our top priority, but cost factors in too.
I am not sure why the red light blinks in my furnace. The furnace is 14 years old and may need some servicing. We have not experienced any heating and cooling issue.
But want to ensure all is well before the winters.
Also online information shows, blue light needs to show up on the furnace.
Please advise.
Thanks
Francis
