I intend to move and want to reset the home to its original look.
1) Re install cabinets in kitchen (they were taken off when we moved in)
2) Re open the door from pantry to dinning room - butlers pantry (we closed this when we moved in - frame is in place, drywalled)
Hi We recently bought a house and I don't like the color of the hardwood floor on the groud level and would like to sand it and change a different color. We may sand the floor ourselves, and just want to see what kind of color and style can we change it to and would like someone do this for us.
In addition, we would like to reface our kitchen as well, to have a more modern style, to build extra cabinet and pannel around the fridge.
Let me know if you could help.
Thanks
Rachel
I have a kitchen cabinet over the gas range and now I wanted to install OTR.
The problem is, there is not enough space to install good size OTR and
looks like small cabinet will need to be cut or moved up.
Have anyone done this?
How much it cost if possible?
Any recommendation?

3. Painting on the main floor
4. Electric wiring and mounting TV over the fireplace
5. Basement : approx 550 sq ft need flooring only and approx 300 sq ft needs to be finished as bedroom with walk in closet and a 3 piece washroom. (washroom area is already enclosed with door)
Hello,
We have just moved into a mattamy home in the Hawthorne Village in Milton. We are looking for a provider to be able to match the kitchen cupboards and counter in order to build a breakfast bar/island in our kitchen. If we could not match the counter than we will look at alternatives. We would also like to shorten the cupboards above the stove in order to put in a Fan/microwave above the stove.
Thanks

I would like to remove the walls that are between the kitchen and the living room, dining room. This is not just a flat wall though. It houses a floor to ceiling cupboard and this is a load bearing wall that is not straight. The cupboard also has an opening into the attic and one of the walls houses the light switch and a cold air return duct. Can it be done?
Thanks,
Carol Vosilla
Convert existing galley kitchen into an L shape kitchen. 1 wall between the kitchen and the entry way to be removed. Patch & paint holes in ceiling and walls. Add electrical outlets for fridge and stove in new locations. New countertop. Recuperate as many cabinets as possible while adding new as required. Current kitchen is 77 sq ft. 10.7 x 7.2 Ft. Flooring needs to be replaced in kitchen area only with transition strip on the joint beside existing laminate floor. If it is possible to replace only the areas which were affected by the wall removal with a match then this is preferred. Sink to remain in place with upper and lower cabinets. New island to be formed as part of the "L" shape from the wall to the column with new lower cabinets and counter top. New counters can be either granite, corian, or quartz (cheapest method) is acceptable. If there are ways to obtain cost savings by recuperating existing cabinets, flooring, & countertops and match any new materials this would be preferred.
We want to take a wall down to open our kitchen to the main living space. It is a load bearing wall. I'm looking for a white kitchen, with the new island being maybe a different colour? This reno would also require the majority of the flooring on the main floor being replaced - I'm thinking of 5" hardwood flooring. We have kids and dogs so needs to be durable. Our timing is spring 2017.

Looking to upgrade cabinets, add Quartz counters, backsplash, add an island in a different cabinet colour with counter overhang. Want layout to stay the same, but open to hearing other options. Looking for mid to high end finishes. May have a few more jobs in the house such as changing ensuite to two sinks with a marble/granite counter. (Outside of budget)
Looing to expand and modify existing kitchen, add cabinets and desk area, change counter tops, add track lighting, change sinks.
2 year old mattamy home, looking to upgade and add additional features to kitchen - change counter tops, add cabinets (pantry and desk area), track lighting, change sinks etc...
Looking for personalized quote.
I am moving into a new house Aug. 30th. It has a very large kitchen. We want to change things to fit our appliances on Aug. 31st. They have a slide in oven/stove. This will be removed and in its place we want to put in 2 built in wall ovens and rebuild the cabinetry around them. We want to have a whole put into our kitchen island so we can put in our down draft gas cooktop. Lastly we want our island extended. At the moment it is approximately 1.5 metes (this is a guess - I don't live in the house so I can't measure at the moment). It is a plain single level rectangular island and we want to add on a second higher level for a breakfast bar area. This area would be the length of the original island. Beneath the island add on would be an area for leg room and then on the cabinetry section itself there would be cabinet doors and shelves put in. On each end of the new island section would be some sort of shelves or wine bottle holders. The counter top is just your average counter top material - no granite or anything. I am looking to have someone come in with me during one of my 2 viewings of this house.
Looking for someone to show me how to make the most of a small kitchen.
95" x 91" space -possibility of adding an island? or sitting area? next to it. There is a space approximately the same size as the kitchen next to it. There is a sliding glass door with california shutters in this area. We currently don't have a kitchen table in this area and just use our dining room table around the corner for all meals.
The house is about 9 years old. We currently have oak cabinets. We would like a more modern look. I think the cabinets can just be painted or resurfaced, but I'm wondering if we can increase the number of cabinets and possibly add a glass cabinet too.
We would like to have granite or marble counters. We already have upgraded our appliances. This is our only kitchen in the house, so we would like the job to get done as fast as possible (without compromising on quality work).
We would like to increase storage and food preparation surface area.
The house is 21 years old. We are wanting to replace the counter top and replace theback splash in the Kitchen. The cupboards are needing to be painted perhaps changeing the color from white to almond? Also new handles to update the look to a more resent trend. We will need a new sink as well.
Our bathrooms are also under consideration and perhaps an overview to upgrade the house to a more modern era.
Hello All,
We have a new build Mattamy home, completed Mar-2013. We are upgrading our kitchen.
We have a purchased a 35" base cabinet, valences and toe-pick pieces from the kitchen cabinet manufacturer - Frendel kitchens, and need to have these installed by professionals.
We plan to upgrade our countertops to granite around the same time. We will also need to have under cabinet LED lighting installed on a switch. Finally, we will need our backsplash installed.
I would like some advice on the order of operations here as well as quotes. I assume that it should look something like this:
1. Install under cabinet lighting and electrical switch
2. Install base cabinet and upper cabinet valences
3. Install granite countertops
4. Install backsplash
Please advise on better approaches. We'd be interested in doing a walkthrough with potential contractors in the evenings around 18:00.
Thank-you,
Kane

Hi,
We have an over the range microwave that needs to be raised by 7''. See attached picture.
You will probably need to cut the cabinet for this as well. I am not planning on buying new cabinet at this point so I expect that you will propose a MacGyver type of solution so it doesnt look ugly.
Your quote should include everything (labour and material) that is needed to complete this job - from start to finish
Please be precise with your quote and provide breakdown if needed
Thank you
