Hi,
I live in a condo and need someone who is used to dealing with condo dwellings and their rules.
I'm looking for a contractor to renovate my ensuite. Complete gut and turn tub into a walk in shower, with a built in bench.
I also have future work for the gut of a second washroom, complete kitchen reno, complete painting of unit and rip out of carpeting throughout to be replaced with laminate flooring.
Hi There,
Looking to completely renovate my ensuite bathroom (approx 11' X 7' rectangle shaped).
Demo includes (believe it may require going down to the studs):
* removal of tub, separate shower stall, vanity, toilet, floor/wall tiles
Would like to install:
* dual vanity, separate makeup vanity, larger tiled shower enclosure, toilet, heated tile floors
Dont believe there would be any major pipe work but may require some electrical rerouting (lighting, heated floors)
If you're reading this, please send me some information re: company, services, quote if possible, photos of past jobs, etc
Thanks for your time.
I'm looking at a reno for the ensuite in the MBR. We want to replace the fixtures, and install a separate shower and soaker tub. Footprint of the bathroom will be larger than before, and the existing WIC will need to expand into the bedroom. Looking for someone who can manage the project end to end and deliver on time and ob budget. We have a good idea of what we want the layout to be, and already have some fixtures in mind, but we're open to suggestions if better discounts are available. We've already had 3 other contractors fall through on us due to scheduling and health issues, and we're really just ready to get the project underway.
Hello,
We live in a 1060 sq. ft. condo, and we are looking into renovating it. We don’t need this reno to be high-end. What would be the rough estimate for the following work to be done (i.e. labour and materials/fixtures)?
-The floor is carpeted so we like to change it to laminate flooring.
- We don’t need to move the existing plumbing in this reno. The work on the kitchen (7 x 8 sq. ft.) would include replacing the cabinets, counter-top, tile and back-splash and light fixture. We'd also like to fix up our two bathrooms. In total, this would include replacing our tub and shower, 2 toilets, 2 vanities, and tile and light fixtures (4 x 7 and 4 x 7 sq. ft.).
Thank you for your responses.
I have purchased toilet & pedistal sink and ceramic tiles to be installed for my 2 piece guest bathroom of 35 yr. house. I would like one wall extended into the next room's closet for a prefab 38"X38" shower to be installed in that space. I will purchase the shower . New vent fan to be installed and heating vent moved. So I need someone who does plumbing, heating, & ceramic floors etc. Bathroom is over crawl space. Attached semi has put in bathtub where I would like the Shower. If this is over $1000. I would like to know to rethink my budget.
Looking to remodel shared upstairs bathroom. Bathroom has not been updated since home was constructed in 2001. Bathroom is approximately 15' by 6' (generous estimate). Job would consist of the following:
- removing existing floor tiles in bathroom, and wall tiles around tub/shower
- removing existing glass door on tub and replacing with new frameless door
- installing new floor tiles and wall tiles within tub/shower (would like subway tiles around bath)
- removing existing vanity, changing plumbing to accommodate double vanity, and installing double vanity purchased from Home Depot (comes with countertop)
- fixing screeching shower with low pressure and installing new hardware (towel bar, toilet paper bar, showerhead, etc.)
We currently have a combination tub and shower, but would be curious to know the cost difference between re-tiling the surround and keeping the tub OR removing the tub and converting the tub/shower combination into a big shower (with tiled floor).
We have specific materials in mind, so would be curious to know the cost in terms of labour (i.e. what it would cost if we supplied all materials).
Currently when we use the stand in shower a small wet spot appears in the first floor ceiling (right below the shower). Need someone to fix the leak. After few tests, The source of the leak has been short listed to: -
1. Drain (it looks like the hole at the bottom where the water drains is not properly sealed.
2. Water might be leaking inside the wall when running shower or tap.
No problems when Using of bath tub, Toilet or Sink. The problem only occurs when using standing shower.
Our en suite is about 10 x 10 and we would like a corner shower extended and updated to a modern frameless all glass shower. Please see pictures attached.
I have some extra matching tile available and am looking to keep the tiled continuity of the bathroom intact.
From my resarch this would require a new tiled base, rerouted plumbing, tile work and installation of the glass and door. I want to see examples of your previous work.
Thank you.

The master bedroom's shower stall has a leak. I want to replace it with a new shower stall. I will purchase a new one to be installed. I need someone to take out the old one and replace it with a new one.
I also want to take out the garage ceiling, spray foam it and replace the drywall afterwards.
I wish to install a small pre-fab shower stall inside my laundry room in the main floor. The existing laundry tub to be removed and this area shall be used to install the shower stall.
The hot and cold water line and a drain line is attached to the existing laundry tub, which shall be utilized for the proposed new shower stall.
I wish someone to visit my home to inspect and give me a complete quote with all materials and labour, completion time and payment terms.
I wish to award this work immediately and have all work complted by 20th of June 2007.
Hi,
I am about to purchase a house with no bathroom in the basement, therefore I would like to see if it is possible to install one. The scope of the project would be to install all the pipes for a toilet and shower.
It is a 4 backsplit, the bathrooms above are not aligned to the basement, so the waste line is not visible at all.
I would like to see if this is possible and if so I would like to see if I can have a gross estimate.
Thanks
