We need someone to come and finish our basement bathroom. We began it but have no time to finish it. It is drywalled but needs taping and mudding. the floor tiles need to be laid, the fixtures need installing - shower, toilet, sink and vanity. Electrical is done, plumbing supply lines are in.
We have the floor tiles, the lights and the fixtures. the shower is a kit shower approx 48" wide with spray jets.
This is basically a labour job. We just don't have any free time to get it done. Would like it done before Christmas if possible.
Hope someone out there would like to on this small project and give it the same attention that a bigger, more expensive job would require.
Partially completed new bathroom in otherwise finished basement. Have most of the materials and fixtures already and plumbing is roughed in. Construction of tile shower stall, venting of plumbing and exhaust fan are the most complex tasks to be done.
Please email me at steve.willson@bellnet.ca if you are interested in having a look at the project. I will only contact those I'm interested in. Thanks to everyone for their consideration.
First, I have to explain our situation:
My boyfriend and I bought our loft style condo in March of this year and right away we decided to renovate our main bathroom. Unfortunately, we've now dealt with THREE contractors and our bathroom is still unfinished and still unusable. The first contractor started knocking out the shower tiles right away, told us to continue knocking them out and he'd be back a few days later to continue.... We never saw him again. The second contractor came in, did estimates, told me how long the work would take (3-4 days) and he'd get back to me with a plan and quote.... We never saw him again either. This last contractor also came in to do estimates, offered to do a few other projects (sliding doors, light fixture changes). This was back in June. He sent us a plan/invoice and we scheduled the reno for August 15-17. Although we emailed and called him to confirm, he didn't initially reply and then waited until last minute to delay us one week. Now today, the day we're suppose to finally start our renovation, he's no where to be found. Please help us!
Reno Needed:
We want to change the shower tiles and fixtures, the toilet, the current vanity to floating one, the sink and fixtures, the light fixture above the mirror (and centre it), we'd like to keep the walled mirror but put a frame around it and also install sliding doors for both this washroom and our powder room. We'd also like to change out a few light fixtures in the kitchen and hallways as well and we have all the materials already!!
I have a bathroom in the basement that is seperated by a small wall from the laundry room. I am looking at 2 options:
1-pulling back the wall towards the laundry room a couple feet (making the bathroom larger), and installing a bathtub and system.
2-avoid moving the wall by relocating the toilet, replacing the vanity with a new smaller one, and making room for a stand up shower.
The project will include removing a carpet from the bathroom floor (I know! who puts a carpet in the bathroom, I just bought the house), and adding ceramic floor tiles and wall tiles. The bathroom is about 8x5 ft.
I am looking for quick work by (the end of the month).
Hi,
I am looking to replace the bathroom fixures in the master bathroom (2 taps, bathtub & shower). I can purchase the fixtures, but I am also looking for a little guidance on the limitations of what can be put in the shower.
If possible, I would like the work completed sometime between March 20th and March 30th.
Thanks for your help!
Lisa

Hi there,
My 4-pc bathroom needs the following:

- new sink and cabinet (60" width)

The tub is leaking into the living room below, so the ceiling of the living room also needs to be repaired.

Industrial Condo: require 2 bathrooms to be removed and three to be installed. 1 with shower, one with change room area. Require work to be done to code and inspected.
Currently there is one bathroom on lower level and one above. The lower bathroom has a toilet and vanity, the upper only a shower and vanity. I need these bathrooms torn out completely (they are in the industrial area of our shop) and then remodeled and enlarged to accommodate two bathrooms downstairs with one bathroom on the second level, c/w a shower. I believe that it will be necessary to cut the concrete to hook up to the sewer line.

I have a small powder room where I want to replace the sink countertop. I'm looking to put granite or stone in, and am wondering what the entire cost would be. It would be nice if you could provide some pictures and quotes of the counters you would like to replace it with.
Thanks

Hello i am looking to renovate my master bathroom to look more like the grey and white bathroom in the second picture. Currently my bathroom looks like the first picture but from a different angle. It has a closed off standard single shower next to the jacuzzi. I would like to get rid of all the black tiles, change the current standing shower into a glass shower (may not need a full glass shower) but open to suggestions. May consider getting rid of the jacuzzi as well...again open to suggestions.
I also have a second bathroom upstairs where i am looking to also change the tiles and perhaps change the vanity.
This house has been on rent for the last 4 years and i have not yet seen the status of it since CoVid. I may need other reno done too! But for now I definitely know the 2 bathrooms need some TLC :) i will have house hopefully by May 1st.
We are taking possession of a fixer-upper condo in Mississauga on February 24th. We are hoping to get the bathroom retiled (floor and walls) and install a new vanity before we move in. We are also interested in having the kitchen floors retiled and would like a quote on everything. We will be completing renovations through a purchase plus improvements mortgage so we would like for someone to come by this weekend if possible for a quote.
Thanks in advance!
I have a medium sized bathroom - without measuring I think it's approximately 12x8 - that needs a facelift. There won't be any knocking down of walls, but I'd like to have a new vanity, counter, sink, toilet, fixtures, and the mirrored wall and tiled walls replaced. I am going to get a quote from bathfitters to do the bathtub and surround - unless it will cost the same or less to redo this as well.
