Dear Kitchen cabinet manufacturers,
We are a design-build-renovator with 35 years of experience building in the GTA, seeking a new relationship with a quality minded, efficient and reliable kitchen manufacturer, preferably close to the Dixie and Burnamthorpe area.
The last cabinet manufacturer we had was with us for over 7 years, but has become unreliable so we are now seeking a new partnership. It varies, but we usually get involved with 3 -5 new kitchens a year.
We will soon be building a new kitchen for our own home, for delivery February 15th. See drawings attached. This photo of the finished kitchen is very close to what we have in mind, a glazed French country kitchen. Dark island, light back cabinets. Proper glazing, not "combing"click here of the doors are MDF with panel mold and raised panel effect, and have soft close 180 degree hinges, decent quality.
All of the boxes are melamine except sink and DW cabinets which are plywood.
I will supply all moldings, pilasters, plinth blocks, crown mold, corbels, for you to paint.
Pantrys have four pull out shelves and one fixed shelf each.
All drawers have soft close.
The glazed finish is to be an authentic looking glaze, antique grey and brown.
I will install the kitchen and most moldings myself.
Delivery must be for Feb 15th, please include protection and transport in your price.
Countertop is not included at this time.
If you have questions, please just make and state assumptions, and submit your budget price.
We will closely look at submissions for their detailed pricing, completeness and number of years you have been in business.

My kitchen has about 30 (melamine/thermofoil???) rasied panel doors. Seven of them have significantly yellowed over 11 years. Two have the coating badly chipping off to the point where I could peel away. Structurally all is well.
I am selling, so I don't want to replace all of the doors.
Can the 7 bad ones be recoated to match the current colour of the 23 good ones.
I look forward to your calls. Work can be completed next week (doors taken away on Wednesday)

Hi,
I manage a few rental properties and am looking for a handyman to replace 2 kitchen cabinets which were damaged due to a leak. the drywall on top needs to be replaced as well. i am looking for a handyman for this and ongoing jobs that I have from time to time for the rentals. Looking for someone who is available on the weekend and is reliable.
The doors and hinges can be re-used as they are good.
I have a 60"high x 45"wide x 23"deep opening in the family room that used to house a projection tv. The opening is about 12 inches from the floor. The tv has now been removed and I am thinking of having shelving built into the opening and framing the outside of the opening all the way to the floor , or perhaps just the edge of the trim, so it looks like a finished unit. The unit will be painted the same colour as the wall so it doesnt necessarily have to be good quality wood - just well made and inexpensive.
Please provide quotes to my email address
I would like to have a smal cabinet built for the kitchen. Approx 4' long at the back, 3'long at the front, 36" tall (height of counter), and 16' deep. 2 shelf wine rack at the front (for 8 bottles) and a drawer above the wine rack. I would like the cabinet to have a ceramic tile top (I have the ceramic tiles) and the colour of the cabinet is to be antique white. As current cabinets are not wood (mdf or something similar), new cabinet can be made of same material. I would like a quote for this job.
Remove existing Knee wall, 3' high .
Replace with stair railing .
25 year old town house. 14 stairs from 1st floor to second floor.
4 stairs from first floor to landing , turn and continue to second floor.
Stairs are carpeted and that will remain.
Minor dry wall work will be needed approx 3' high by 7'' wide on wall at the foot of the stair and on the second floor.
this is a small job but needs an experienced person to accomplish.
Hello,
I want to change my old house layout to open concept by removing wall between kitchen and dining room and replacing it with kitchen island or bar table (??).
Please provide me with the rough estimate - wall has only door opening now.
There are more changes to be done s.a. shower cabin replacement etc. to be done later.
BTW. do you provide your own selection of shower cabin units ?
Regards,
Derek R
