I will be selling my house in late May and require a wonderful "handycanadian" to perhaps resurface/patch with cement? my front walkway area and a few other places in the backyard. And around two fence posts in the driveway, there needs some patchwork done with asphalt? I am not sure of the correct terms to use here - sorry! It is a "small" job but it nevertheless needs to be done for "curb appeal" etc... If there is a trusted, craftsman or woman out there that can help, please let me know. I'd like the work to be completed (I think it would take no more than 1 day) during the week of May 16 pending on the weather. Thank you!
I have approx. 17 tiles that need to be replaced due to cracks in them. They form a trail across my living and kitchen area. I live in a condo and have ceramic tiles throughout. I have approx. 40 tiles as spare.
Please inform me if this job could be done, safely without damaging other tiles beside the cracked ones. I need this project done asap as lam coordinating other projects to be done with other workers.

I need a concrete crew to pour a footer around my pool. This is a brand new inground vinyl liner steel walls pool and it needs 12" of concrete around the excavated area to hold the walls together. The pool is a 16x30. S thats 92 feet of 12" height and 24" wide of concrete. It does not have to be troweled finished just rough pour. Also needs to be wheel barreled to the backyard. I have 8 feet of entrance to the back.
Looking to get estimate for both interloc as well as the concrete work for the front pathway. I am still undecided which option to pick or is less expensive. The area is approx. it is 160 to 190 sq. ft and a step will also be required in front of the main entrance.
Please provide an estimate, special deals, timelines and warranty details. The house is located in Mississauga near Winston Churchill and Britannia Rd.
I'm looking to lay down concrete for my patio. Its roughly, 14 feet x 22 feet. It would be grey concrete, not stamped or coloured. I'm looking for completion in Fall or early spring. Please submit a quote. Area is already leveled and will require two steps from my patio slider onto the concrete patio.
Looking for a reliable and experienced team to start building a concrete patio by mid next week. Must be installed with great care, finished properly, and cured carefully. Please reply only if you are available to complete this project no later then Friday September 9th.
The concrete will be plain and simple, no tint and not stamped. Must have a minimum of a 4 inch thickness which is pretty standard. I would also like concrete steps to be built. I beleive only 2 would be needed (design shown in the diagram)
I will be looking for a complete portfolio at the time of the estimate.
I have attached a diagram with a quick drawing and measurments. Please dont mind the sloppy drawing as I did this only to give you an idea of the project
- concrete slab around the deck perimeter (deck expansion) size of roughly 8.5 X 17 feet. This would need digging of 1 foot deep or up for discussion sitting on the gravel bad 4 inches deep with steel mesh reinforcement topped by concrete (truck delivery).
Going around the perimeter drill sonic tube holes in the ground 4 feet deep for posts supporting deck.
I estimate 6 holes capped with post holders. The slab would probably need to go over the post's concrete to make it as one piece.
The slab perimeter to have 6 - 8 inches wide slanted edge for water removal and the rest just flat surface.
The old deck and perimeter would be cleaned and prepared for work by myself contrary to how it looks on the pictures.
- I also got another hole to make to repair my fence post which is rotten and needs to be replaced. The approach is to be the same 4 feet hole pouring concrete with post holder on top. The fence would be removed by me.
- I also need the landing for the deck stair that I plan to run by the wall showing on the picture where the sprout is.
- We can discuss if you want to look into repairing the crack in the wall. What I think we might do is to put a few steel brackets for reinforcement to keep the crack in check and to apply glue and concrete coat over the brackets and exposed rebars to keep the rust out and for the cosmetic look of it.
That would be it. Please, get back to me with your estimate and timelines.
Thanks much for your time.
We are a commercial/warehouse business and are looking to have a 12' x 20' concrete patio (poured) in place to the West side of our facility for use as a seasonal outdoor eating area.
We would also like to have a standard height chain link fence with a locking gate placed around the patio. The fence will be at the perimeter of the patio on the south and east sides and set in approximately 3' on the north side to ensure free egress from the fire exit at that location.
This is a commercial facility and an authorization has been issued by the landlord to perform the work as described above.
Hello, I am looking to have my front steps resurfaced with concrete as well as I need additional 3 steps built and a sidewalk where the front lawn used to be. I currently have 8 concrete steps going up to the front door and 3 steps were not built by the builders to connect to the ground but instead we had to buy separate steps and place them together.
Wheel chair ramp paralell to garage leeding to front door.
Lenght 20 feet
Width 4.5 feet
Height 38 inches to zero
Platform 9 x 6 feet needs to elevated by 10 inches.
Glass porch enclosure;
Platform size 9 x 6 x 8 feet
Sloped alluminium roof
This could be one project or two individual projects.
Appx. 6X9 front door concrete on grade, demolish and re-pour with correct substrate of sand and gravel and reinforced concrete with crack preventing oil based fibre board divider at end of houseline (6X7), between the houseline and the 2' extension beyond. (it is 2X2 patio stones there now).
Hi, I live in a townhouse and am interested in tearing down the pseudo-deck the builders have installed. It is unsighlty and poorly built. In place of this very small deck (probably 2x3 feet), I would like to add 3 or 4 concrete steps. A simple project, that will take no longer than a day I would think. I'm not looking to spend too much money on this, so some quotes would be appreciated.
dog out crawls space and put new concrete floor in.
The crawl space we have has a full foundation, the space however, has not been fully dug out and I will need it dug out and a new concrete floor installed. Because there is no window in the space, the foundation wall needs to have a whole cut out for installation of a window.
Currently as you can see the retention wall is made from blocks glued together but the whole thing is tilting and basically falling apart. I want to pour a concrete wall and replace the blocks.
Currently the blocks are 8 inches thick so I think similar should go for the wall unless you recommend thicker - I want this to hold. The wall 22.5 feet long, by 3.25 feet high (height at the highest point - closest to the house).
The guardrail would need to be reattached back to the wall so similar "step downs" might have to be made to accommodate the guard rail. The guardrail contractor advised the screws can be either easily removed without ruining the rail.
The interlocking on the upper level would have to be taken off and re-positioned. The interlocking on the lower level (driveway) they can be probably left alone, maybe one row might have to be removed. I assume the wall would need to go inside the ground 2-4 feet depending on what the building requirement is.
On the upper level interlocking there is an extra step right before the house (Photo #7) that can be kept the way it is, turned into 2 steps, or we can get rid of. Any solution will do.
I'm looking for a price, but a general price range will be good too.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone!
I have a residential project that requires approx. 1200 sq.ft. of exposed concrete work.
The project is essentially a poured pad for a shed , 3 walkway areas and 2 retainning walls.
All of the work is easily accessible a the front and side of the house.
This project will require you to have a small bob cat and mini back hoe for material removal.
I'm looking for a dark coloured type of exposed aggreagte that is simular to the look that is shown on this web site ... click here project can start immediately........Thanks for looking.........Nick
