We have a leak on the wall in our basement. We are getting a waterproofing company to repair the leak. That means they will break a section of the drywall. So we will have a hole there. We need someone to put in a new drywall. Also, we need to replace the whole carpet in the basement (1,402 sq. feet) because there is damage to a small section. Or to steam clean it. Part of the bar needs fixing as well, where water seeped in. And we have tiles in the bar area. We want to change that to hardwood. Can you assist?
Stairwell to basement had pine wainscotting on it. It has been removed and left nail holes in the drywall. Can it be repaired, or better to replace?
Second part of job; family room has popcorn stucco (latex painted) on walls and ceiling. Can it be removed, or does it have to be replaced? Family room has wainscotting too, that we are keeping.
Family room is 10.5 X 16.5 ft. One wall is open to kitchen, and opposite wall has patio door (6ft.) and a window adjoined (3ft.) stairwell ceiling is okay as is. One wall is 12.5 ft. X 7 ft., the other is open part way so it's approx. 7ft. X 10 ft. On the bias. House was built in 1973.
The ceiling in my bathroom has mold on it. This mold has slowly, but surely, been spreading. I suspect that it is due to a poorly installed bathroom fan/vent. I need to have the existing drywall taken down, the fan fixed, new drywall hung, finished and painted.
I need this project to be completed by this Thursday, November 11th.
I am available this Saturday, November 6th after 4pm for people interested in coming by to provide estimates.
Need to take down drywall, 16'6'' by 7'6'', second floor bedroom, replace insulation, install water barrier, put back dry wall and tape (no painting needed). Preserve baseboard if possible.
There was a wasp nest that I removed. I patched the wall but room was quite cold during winter.
Hi,
I manage a few rental properties and am looking for a handyman to replace 2 kitchen cabinets which were damaged due to a leak. the drywall on top needs to be replaced as well. i am looking for a handyman for this and ongoing jobs that I have from time to time for the rentals. Looking for someone who is available on the weekend and is reliable.
The doors and hinges can be re-used as they are good.
I am having exposed floors in my home insulated with spray foam. I need some drywall, a soffit, some vinyl siding and some flashing carefully removed to expose the areas to be insulated, and then re-installed after the insulation is done (using the same drywall, soffit, etc.)
I would like to eliminate the door between the master bedroom and the main bathroom and just have a regular wall. Remove the (standard sized) single door metal frame, prep hole as required, drywall, tape and mud both sides of the new wall. Make ready for painting. You supply material. Please provide an estimate of the job and when it would be convenient for you to squeeze this into your schedule. Thank you. Charlene
