Hi,
I need my brick fireplace covered with oak wood with a thin acanthus corbel on both sides of the mantle; maybe with flutes on both sides too. AND I want a built-in seating/cabinet/bench that is 27" x 55 1/2" with cushion (I can make the cushion if u don't do it).
Any referrals please?
Thanks,
Jeanette
I am working on a renovation that's is going to have a gas fireplace installed in the basement as part of the basement renovation. Once the fireplace is installed, I am looking for someone who can come in and install ledgestone vaneer(or something similar). The job is in Mississauga. Please e-mail your experience, plus pictures and references when replying to this job. The area will be 6 feet wide and 8 feet high(floor to ceiling). Please reply with an e-mail and phone number where you can be reached.
Thanks
I have an electric fireplace that I want to put on the wall and have stone frame the fireplace. I don't want the entire wall stoned just frame the fireplace and put a mantle on top.
I can supply the stone and I already have the fireplace. However, if you prefer to get the materials that's fine with me too.
Looking for complete job for replacing wooden fire place into electrical one. This will include
Removing of existing firplace & Seal all drafts and vents in the chimney
Cap the top of the chimney flue and close the damper
Insert electrical firplace with proper electrical connection
Brick/ stone work surround area
We can buy all the required material & fire place but need complete quote for labour & suggestion on electrical firplace
We want to be able to mount the television onto the fireplace. We are considering putting in a gas insert. Would there be anyway to keep a portion of the mantel or to cover it with something to make it more modern contemporary looking with a reasonable budget? We are about to start renos of flooring kitchen etc so budget not very big. Would you be able to get back to me with a sketch and quote? We are looking to spend max 4-5k.
Hi,
I am looking to get couple of things done in my house:
1) I have a fireplace in-built, gas, in a wall, in my family room. I am thinking of putting some kind of stones around the fireplace to the ceiling....and MAY BE fireplace surrounded by Marble slab and same slab on the floor for the length of the stone work.
2) Increase the height of my kitchen window...by 3-4 feet...just in height and not width.
Thanks
I have wood burning fireplace in my living room, faced with marble slabs (some cracks and looks dated) from floor to ceiling, approx 8 feet high and 5 feet wide. I'd like to replace the marble, replace the fireplace doors and install a flat screen tv above the fireplace. this might require extending the current 4 inch mantel.
Based on a honest and fair quote, I would check your references and if positive, I would like to begin the project immediately.
Nearest intersection is Dixie/Rathburn and I am the home owner.
I am also looking for a basement update and laundry room finishing, if you have this expertise, that would be a bonus.
Hi,
We are looking for an experienced trades person who is WET certified to install a stainless steel liner into our Chimney and install a Wood Burning Stove insert. We are currently in the market for a wood stove but do not wish to pay $2000 for a new insert and so we are considering purchasing a used one OR discontinued model if we can find a contractor to install it for us at a reasonable cost.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A GENERAL ADVERTISEMENT OF YOUR COMPANY. We are looking for someone who is willing to install a used or discontinued model Wood Stove insert we may purchase from a 3rd party or directly from the installer if they have one.
Thank you for your interest.
Chimney is located on main floor of home. Dimensions of fireplace can be provided upon request but we recommend a visit to our home to give us an accurate estimate.
We already have received an inspection and chimney sweep by a WET certifed company.
