Hello,
I have just bought a house in Mississauga and need a few repairs done as per the home inspection ASAP.
1) Roof - Vent pipe flashing repair/ caulking re-seal
2) Chimney Rain Cap install + Chimney clean
3) Installation of a vent for each of the 2nd level bathrooms (2 total) - run pipe to roof for air exhaust. + Bird nest removal in attic + wire mesh install to keep them out.
4) Installation of a new dryer vent on the side of the house and close/seal-off old existing dryer vent.
Need these items done as soon as possible. Please give me your total estimates for all items and when you are available to complete the work. Looking for price+quality+speed.
Thanks.
I am looking to remodel on of the bathrooms in the house and need:
1. Remove old toilet and put in a new one
2. Remove existing counter-top, sink and vanity and put in a new one
I will be purchasing my own fixtures and need someone to install.
Also, need some general handy work done around the house
I need someone to re-do all my closets. The existing hardware is coming out of the wall, maybe wasn't mounted properly in the firstt place. I'm worried that eventually the weight of the clothes hanging will pull down the rods. Who can do this? I'm not looking for the closet re-organizer type thing, just basic closet, a rod & a shelf up top.
Good afternoon.
I am looking for on-line quotes only at this point.
I have 4 closets that I would like changed from 96 inches to 80 inches. They require headers (I think that's what it's called) to be made.
Master Bedroom - 114 inches; (header + divider in middle + door installation)
Bedroom 2 - 45 inches; (header + door installation)
Bedroom 3 - 45 inches (header + door installation)
Front hall - 64 inches (header + door installation)
Linen closet - 20 inches (installation only)
Front hall - 24 inches (installation only)
Do you have a supplier for doors or just use Home Depot, etc.
Assuming I use all bi-fold doors, what would the cost be?
I would like a cost breakdown also.
Thank you. I look forward to your response.
Gwen
Few fixings in the condo - Replacing sliding closet door, Tub - grout cleanup or re grouting, caulking around tub, refinishing entrance door, fixing kitchen faucet, filling up holes in the walls and on one ceiling and then painting most of the walls and doors.
Condo is app. 1100 sq. feet.
In the end carpet cleaning and blinds cleaning.
I may need a minor repair on one of the exhaust covers on the outside wall. Please see picture.
One of the flaps of the cover is broken, caused by winds in the recent storm. This cover is about 18 ft above ground.
Please provide estimate, with parts and labor quoted separately.
Thanks.

The current state is there is a metal flex-hose hanging in my front closet from the microwave and I need someone to vent it either to the roof or the side of the house. (either option is no further than 4 feet from current location). The exterior of the house is PVC siding. The job is relatively small but I need someone with more experience than I to do it and do it quickly (but make sure it looks good too) !!
Loking to reface brick fireplace of 23-year old house, with either limestone or porcelain tile. Remove raised brick hearth and tile with same tile or hardwood like the rest of family room. Fireplace surround to be tiled is approximately 18.34 sq ft. Hearth to be removed is 15 in x 108 in x 6 in.
Would also like to either completely remove wall between kitchen & family room or leave a half wall. I'd like to get this finished by Feb 17, 2010. Requesting online estimates only at this point. Will be narrowed down for actual quotes.
Previous concerns: project was not started and finished on time. If chosen, contractor must provide references, licenses, and contract, and be able to finish before Feb 17, 2010. Thank you.
