Hello we just purchased a condo in Mississauga (south west). Will require professional company with references and guarantee, to do kitchen. Replacing kitchen cupboards and countertops, sink, etc ... Typical kitchen. Quality work & very dependable people is important. VERY SMALL KITCHEN. Have existing appliances. Very basic but nice looking kitchen.
Budget is very important as this is a condo with limited kitchen space and will be rented out and or sold. Most important is appearance, functionality and quality of work.
If you have experience with kitchens in condos ... that would be most helpful too.
Thank you
I live in a condo which is 25+ years old. Diagrams of the current kitchen and bathroom are attached. I am looking for a contractor that can offer material and design options.
Kitchen renovation:
The kitchen has the original cabinetry and countertop. I am looking to have the following done:
- complete cabinet replacement: If I can purchase cabinetry from a big box store and have it installed it would be great however I would also like a price comparison of custom cabinetry. Referring to the diagram - the red box is to indicate that I would like one large cabinet acting as a pantry.
- current single sink to be replaced with double sink and new faucet
- replacement of halogen light with track lighting
- tiling to be replaced
- countertop material to be decided
Bathroom renovation:
The bathroom has the original vanity, bathtub and toilet. I am looking to have a spa-inspired bathroom. I am looking to have the following done;
- vanity replacement
- current lighting change to track lighting
- toilet replacement
- bathtub conversion to large shower stall with built in shelves with glass doors
- tile replacement on the floor and for the shower

Hi there,
We are planning to renovate our kitchen in a condo building close to Hurontario & Eglinton in Mississauga. It's about 20 years old.
It's size is 100" x 96", ~ 55 sq.ft. We are planning to have the project start around the last week of November or first week of December. It will depend on the time the kitchen cabinets are ready.
We have Cabinet Price Warehouse as our designer and the cabinets will be made by AyA Kitchen.
Basically, we need contractor to renovate the whole kitchen like:
1. Remove the old sink, faucet & install the new one. Or we need to hire a plumber.
2. Remove the old cabinets & appliances.
3. Repair the damaged drywall especially the one below the window & the ceiling above the window.
4. Replace the floor moulding and tiles
5. Paint the whole kitchen
6. Install the new cabinets. There are 2 standard cabinets needed to be cut into a triangular shape to fit the corner.
Please give us a quote, and the time that is needed.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hello,
We live in a 1060 sq. ft. condo, and we are looking into renovating it. We don’t need this reno to be high-end. What would be the rough estimate for the following work to be done (i.e. labour and materials/fixtures)?
-The floor is carpeted so we like to change it to laminate flooring.
- We don’t need to move the existing plumbing in this reno. The work on the kitchen (7 x 8 sq. ft.) would include replacing the cabinets, counter-top, tile and back-splash and light fixture. We'd also like to fix up our two bathrooms. In total, this would include replacing our tub and shower, 2 toilets, 2 vanities, and tile and light fixtures (4 x 7 and 4 x 7 sq. ft.).
Thank you for your responses.
I presently have a Gas Oven And A Regular two tub sink for washing dishes.
I need to add an additional electric oven and an additional sink on an island as one is sometimes doing multiple things.
Are these additions allowed by the municipality and if so how much would it cost (approximate ball park figure) to enable me to make the decision to initiate the work order.
Am buying a house and needs renovation. I have a floor plan and can discuss. Primary changes include:
- New kitchen
- New ensuite bathroom
- Changes to other bathroom
- Flooring/tiling for full house
- Painting and some potlights
- Some drywall work
Work must be done between May 24 - June 30
700 square foot condo, kitchen upgrade. Definitely counter top and sink, no change to appliances, not sure what to do with the cabinets, looking for options there.
For the counter top I am looking for something practical and relatively hard wearing/easy to manage, the sink will be surface mount
Condo is on ninth floor, central Mississauga, just me living there.
I would like to inquire about doing my kitchen makeover, new cabinet faces only not the entire cabinets
grantie counter top, new back splash (have a tile in mind), also moving over the fridge a couple of feet which would entail to break down my closet entrance and making it half its size.
I live in a condo in Mississauga which is apprx 600 square feet in total and wanted to have an idea of cost ... thanks for your help.
