Have a asphalt driveway that I would like to have extended to fit two vehicles. The new asphalt area would be about 176 sq. feet and then I would like the existing driveway of 609 sq ft. to be repaved in order to blend the old with the new driveway. The new asphalt must be 2-2.5 " thick after compaction. The stone base shall be 6" in depth using existing stone if possible.
Please indicate your price per sq. ft. and how long the work will take.
I would need a few separate prices. One for tearing up and relocating (build new) driveway as per the proposed plan (16' standard size driveway). Driveway and path will be asphalt.
Second pricing to relocate the garage door opening to the front of the structure as per proposed plans. The garage structure exterior is brick finish and the old opening will need to be closed and finished with RED brick to match current.
Third price would be to remove select bushes/trees as per proposed plan and installing new grass over old driveway area.
YOUR REPLY MUST INCLUDE A PRICE. PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE A PRICE IN YOUR RESPONSE. PLEASE INCLUDE LABOUR AND MATERIALS IN YOUR QUOTE!
I can park only 2 cars in the driveway back to back in my semi-detached house. I want to widen the driveway to add space for 1 more car on the side. At the moment this empty space on the side of driveway has grass on it. The job will also involve cutting the curbstone on the side to allow car to enter the widened space.
Hi,
We want free estimates for Concrete/Asphalt Driveways and a small portion of the backyard. I will be available after 5pm during weekdays or anytime during weekend for those who wanted to see the area for FREE estimate. Please send me your email address so that I can send you pictures.
Please & thank you.
We live in Missisauga and have a driveway approximately 25 years old that is in need of re-tarmaccing as it is cracking and lifting.. Would also like to extend it by one car width. No idea of the square footage but it fits 4 cars (2 cars side by side and 2 cars behind that). Just want driveway to look good without costing a fortune as we are looking to sell within the next year.
Look forward to receiving ideas of cost, etc.
I'm looking at adding an asphalt section to my current driveway (bottom section by the sidewalk).
It was originally built with an odd slant/curve which made it difficult to parallel park.
I've got a curb cut from the city and have removed the grass from the area already.
The area is 10 x 10 ft and I'd like it best to match the existing driveway.
I live in a duplex so I share a common asphalt driveway with my neighbor (i.e. they occupy the right side, and I live on the left side). I'd like to extend my driveway for the purpose of parking an additional car on it. It would be a plus if the contractor can apply for the curb revision with the city so I can park directly from the street onto the new parking area. I have a wide frontage (54ft) but I want to make sure the new parking area is within city ordinance limits. I attached a picture of 1) areal view of my lot and 2) planned driveway and dimensions (it's 9ft x 22ft extension).
I'm open to ideas on how to implement (either asphalt, interlocking or stamped concrete etc). I don't wish to change the asphalt on the current driveway since that means asking my neighbor to share with the costs which I am not sure they are willing to at this point.
Looking to expand my driveway and build a path to the back of the house.
Details - rough estimates
1. Expand driveway (W: 7ft 23" L: 23ft 3") - Asphalt
2. Path round the side: 15ft by 4ft. Asphalt or other options.
3. Optional depending on the price: reseal current driveway 8ft by 25ft

Need to re-design the whole driveway(definitely not interlocking so will need professional advice/design prior to implementation)
Time is the biggest concern.. i require the driveway to be done in under 2 days from the time the job is started.

I have a four car driveway that I want to have re-paved. The driveway is currently paved but there are many cracks and depressions in it. It is the original driveway from when the house was built in 1987. Also, at the point where the driveway is supposed to meet the garage, the driveway has sunk about 6 inches below the level of the garage entrance. I would like this fixed so that it doesn't happen once the driveway is repaved.
Along the length of the drivway there are thin cement stones to separate the edge of the driveway from the lawn. Are there alternatives to this for the edging? I am open to recommendations on this.
Please provide a detailed quote and timing of when you can start and finish. I am prepared to make a decision for the right contractor quickly.
Remove existing 10.5' x 45' asphalt driveway. Remove and set aside 28' single row of patio stone. Excavate and widen existing drive by 6' X 28'. Total area will become 640.5s.f.. Add stone, grade, compact and pave. Please specific thickness of asphalt in your quote. Please indicate if you also do patio stone/interlock work and are able to reinstall patio stone. Thank you.

Driveway
We are looking to widen our asphalt driveway as we need to fit a second car later this year. We would like the work done soonish if possible.
Current driveway (see photos attached) is about 14ft wide and 27ft long to the footpath. Then 14ft wide and 6ft from footpath to road.
To the main 27x14ft section, we would like to add 1ft on one side (to line up with a walkway we have leading to our front door) and about 6ft on the other to meet the neighbours driveway, the wider sections would be continuing with asphalt with a small concrete curb (or drain or edge or something... happy for options here) on either side.
This is the minimum we would like done.
Additional things to discuss and quote.
1) replacing the existing driveway asphalt while we are at it. 14x27ft
2) We are wondering what is involved in widening the verge/Berm/ entrance to the driveway. This is another 6x6ft and a 1x6ft asphalt extension with the same concrete edging to match the main section. I assume this would also require city permit as the curb would need to be adjusted and recorded with them.
2a) Cost of replacing the asphalt driveway entrance section 14x6ft
Please email me with thoughts about this project. I would like a rough estimate on:
- when this job would be able to done (number of weeks away).
- How long the job would take (number of days)
- Ballpark estimate on cost (within a few hundred if possible but also a 1-2 or 2-3 thousand is fine for now and you can request more details to narrow it down)
Things that make a contractor stand out.
- Communication. Clear emails asking for what you need.
- Honest, straight to the point. Just let me know what is going on.
- Detail. I like to know what is going on. Please break down the costs if possible.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you all.
Pete
I require my driveway to be extended 2 feet x 25 feet which is currently grass. Also I would require the entire driveway to be sealed and would like a quote on resurfacing the balance of the driveway which is 14 feet wide x 25 feet wide and bottom section after walkway is 14 feet wide x 6 feet long.
Hi, I am looking for some quotes on re-doing my front walkway. The square footage is 145 square feet approximately. I have some ideas but am looking for suggestions. Currently there is a walkway leading up to a front porch and there is a flower bed along the side of the house. I have attached some photos for reference and would appreciate some good ideas and quotes to complete the job.
Hi,
I'd like a quote for an asphalt driveway for a new home, which has already base gravel (may need some top-up).
The driveway area is approximately 18 x 38.5 feet.
I'm located in Port Credit in Mississauga.
Along with the cost, please let me know the type of asphalt material (if you have different options, please quote for each), and your availability (timing for job start and completion).
Thanks
Nhuan
Hi,
We need a driveway put in. Driveway will be roughly 8 feet deep and 6 feet wide, give or take 1 foot because of design. (entrance slightly more narrow than rest of driveway)
This driveway will be passing over a gully (drainage/ditch - common in south Mississauga, see pic) so we'll need a bridge of sorts
PICTURE1:
Is where the driveway is to be placed, In the picture, ignore shrubs, bush, that is mostly gone or will be gone.
PICTURE2:
is what I mean by bridge - this is our walkaway.
Looking for fair and honest pricing. We have future projects planned so someone who does quality work will have many offers of future work.
We are looking to have a pathway in our complex re-paved. The current pathway is in poor condition.
I believe the best situation for a quote would be to come on site and have a look at the current pathway - if you are interested in this project please contact me for more information.
Thank you,
Sean
