Its a pie shape lot with not much space available for the pool but a good design can fulfill the desire.
Size is not a primary concern as long as you do not suggest a pond size pool :)
Please suggest the right material for the right price. I always thrive on price performance ratio.
My house is my age, less than 40.
No rennovations to the exterior or the lot.
Concerns... city of mississauga may have some but I have only one...$$$ ;)
Looking for quotes on repairing an existing inground swimming pool. Not sure the age of the pool, but the home is over 30 yrs old. I think the swimming pool has a concrete shell and has a vinyl liner covering. In certain areas, portions of the shell is now protruding outwards but have not punctured the liner.
Coping is cracked in some places so they would need to be replaced. Concrete deck is cracked on both ends on side closer to home. This may be an indication that the wall structure has weakened on this side. The pool had a diving board but it was removed due to safety reasons. Only the base remains and we are interested in replacing with a slide instead.
There is one ladder on the deep end. The shallow end has removable steps (plastic composition). The vinyl liner is approx 7-8 years old now (based upon pool inspector's estimation as we purchased the home three years ago).
The pump and filter are both old but still functional. Will likely keep until they fail instead replacing with new ones. No heater installed.
We are on a tight budget and only want repairs necessary to make the pool safe and presentable.
If you are interested in this project, please reply back with a quote or contact me if you require additional information. I can obtain pictures as well if you require it.
One more item: I ask that you provide at least three references as part of your quote. Any quotes without references will not be considered.
Thank you for your consideration and assistance.
Our pool has a small leak around one of the jets. We have patio stones surrounding the pool, so it was easy for us to dig around the area and isolate where the leak is coming from (see pictures). The pool leaks about 1 inch of water a day and the interior of the pool, i.e. liner, seem to be unaffected.
We are hoping to have someone (preferably from a pool company) come in and quote us how much it would cost to fix it.
We are located in the south end of mississauga
Winter damage of concrete pool by winter cover leaky. Request to repair options as follow:
- repaint previously painted shell (rubberize Benjamin Moore pool paint).
- apply coating like poly or vinyl.
- replace existing tiles and crown.
Now, pool is empty and dry.

I have an oval inground swimming pool and small one side of the wall has been pulled away from the ground (you can see behind the wall, the stones need to be put back in place). The pool wall needs to be repaired first and then I will require complete lining plus.
I need to know the cost of repairing the wall first.
Thank you and have a great day.
Small pool needs new liner (vinyl), cement/concrete surround is cracked and needs to be replaced and would also like to do the plumbing. Pump and filter are only a couple years old so I don't think that's a problem.
Pool is 11 feet wide at one end and 14 feet wide at other end. 25 feet long, deep end is 7.5 feet deep.
Looking for an estimate of cost.
My house is around 30 years old, I have bought it with the swimming pool installed. The swimming pool is a liner type pool. Two years ago I had to replace the liner becuase of a leakage problem and it had cost me 5000 CDN. This year I was suprised to find the same problem although the liner is only two years old it is supposed to have a minimum service life of 10 years, I have asked a pool expert and he told me that the liner was improperly installed and therefore it did not last long. My main concern rigth now is to find a reliabe company that can replace the liner without me having to worry for altleast 10 years cause I am planning to sell my house in about a year.
