I have 2 Tiling projects that I need. If you can do both - please price both separately.
1) Install a mosaic backsplash in Kitchen (assume the material needs to be sealed).
Approx 37 Sq.Ft.
If you can supply material, that is great - if not, I can get material myself.
2) I currently have a wooden fireplace mantel with a brick hearth. Wooden fireplace needs to be removed, bricks need to be removed and I would like to install a "rough granite" type of tile/stone on this and replace the stone heart with either limestone or travertine tiles.
Approx 75 Sq.Ft. of space of coverage for the stone on the mantel + small heart.
Labour required: Remove brick hearth, remove mantel, tile with new stone and replace bricks with travertine tiles. Again, I can provide materials - or if you can do so, great.
Project located in Mississauga - time frame is 2-4 weeks as we will be waiting for the rest of the kitchen to be completed before we do the backsplash.
Happy bidding!

I have attached a pdf file that shows the approximate shape/ area of our kitchen floor.
I would also like some consultation on the thickness of the ceramic tiles I should get to match in height with the surrounding laminate flooring that covers the rest of the apartment.
From the above parameters, kindly provide your price.

Hi there, I would like to replace my existing ceramic kitchen floor tiles with new porcelain floor tiles, but I DO NOT want to remove my kitchen cabinets as I have an existing granite counter top on them. I understand that this can be done, there are tools out there to assist in jobs like this (toe kick saw, pneumatic chippers etc..) I am also looking at replacing our existing kitchen back splash, and the floor tiles in our front foyer and powder room as well. (I would like to use the same tiles in the kitchen, foyer and powder room). The front foyer area is approx. 9'x9', the landing to powder room is approx. 5'x4' and the powder room is approx 8'x4'. The kitchen and breakfast area is approx. 17'x9' and because it is oddly shaped, there is an area 13'x1' and 4'x2'. The area leading to the backyard needs to be tiled as well and that measures 4'x3' and the closet 3'x2'. The measurements I have given you are definately bigger and not smaller. I am looking for a quote for this job. I live in Mississauga. I have found some 12x24 tiles online I like, and presume that I would buy the tiles and the installation would be done by you guys. I am having the kitchen cabinets refaced in July, and also want to know if the tiles should be done before or after the cabinet refacing.. I am thinking probably before to not damage the refaced cabinetry??
Regards,
Daniel
Hello,
I'm interested in receiving a free quote for some basement work. I simply want to put in new laminate flooring (there is old laminate now). I am uncertain of the area, however I believe it is around 450 square'. I also want to re-tile the basement shower. I might re-tile the whole bathroom depending on the price.
I only need a price for labour, I will supply the materials: laminate and tiles.
Thank you,
Debora

I would also hope that the person has experience installing porcelain or ceramic and can show me photographs of
similar work done recently.

melamine resin/aluminum oxide laminates
E. PLACEMENT OF BOARDS:
