I have a small stand up shower in the basement and the doorway hasn't been finished. The interior is complete, as is the plumbing, but the tilework and appropriate sealing needs to be completed on the entrance. This isn't a large project, but I need to have this done as soon as possible. I'm looking to put the house on the market very soon and this is one of the things holding me back.
Need to have a kitchen backsplash retiled as granite counters are going to be installed (maybe 40 sq ft of backsplash). May also look at replacing a fibreglass shower stall with tile wall and a shower pan ( shower area is 45 in by 32 in and ceiling height is 8 ft) Also looking for a plumber to install faucets in kitchen and bathrooms once new counters are installed (6 faucets).
Hello,
We are looking for someone to tile our kitchen floor. We took up the old ceramic tiles, scraped/cleaned the floor (plywood, solid, good shape) and we have our new tiles ordered in and ready to be installed. Total area is just under 150 square feet. Layout is simple 'L' shaped kitchen with 3 appliances, open square concept with counter against 2 walls, patio door on other side and kitchen flows into dining room with hardwood transition piece in place which tiles can butt up against.
Thanks.
My existing kitchen tile is old and I'm looking to have it replaced. I would buy the tile and grout. The tricky thing is that it's not a full kitchen reno, so the island and cupboards wouldn't be moved and not sure how easy the toe kicks are to remove (if they can't be removed, then I'd buy 1/4 round). The tiles in the photo are stretched, they're actually 1'x1' and the kitchen is about 12'x10'.
I'm in Nepean (Merivale/Meadowlands area).
Thank you!
I am having new kitchen cabinets installed and want to have the old ceramic tiles removed. I do plan on having new flooring to replace the ceramic but have not decided to go with ceramic, parquet or what.
I intend to sell the house in a year or two so do not want to spend an enormous amount for new flooring.
I have a fireplace hearth that is tiled. The tiles are dated and the one on the corner is broken - its time to re-tile it. I would like to remove the old tiles and put down new ones. Its not a large square footage (275cm x 45cm rectangle). The tile bed is raised from the floor and on a concrete sheet. The concrete sheet may also need a bit of repair (not sure).
I would like to have the sides of the hearth tiled as well as the top to hide the brick underneath.
I prefer initial contact by email - right now just trying to find someone willing to do a job this small.
