I just purchased a home and am looking for some quotes on renovations I would like done. If I could get quotes for each of the following that would be great.
1.Fence: I need 28 ft of fencing done on either side of the house at the front of the house (10 ft and 18ft pieces). The 18ft piece of fencing would require a gate about 2.5 ft wide. Fencing would be 5ft tall and wood.
2. Patio door: I would like to have a patio door installed from the master bedroom. Currently there is a 4 ft 10 inch window installed. To cut out the space for the patio door you would need to cut through siding.
3. Deck: From the patio door I would like to put in a 8ft by 12ft deck made of wood with wood spindles. Stairs down the middle.
I am open to suggestions and/or modifications.
Looking to replace stairs at the side of our home.
The previous stairs were poured concreate which were pushing against the foundation.
I have removed the concreate stairs and now looking for someone to build new floating type stairs or a deck platform with new stairs going from the top of the hill (approximently a 10-12 feet) to the land below.
I live in Toronto and unable to find the time to go up and build the stairs myself and looking for someone to visit the property and provide me with quote and how soon they can get these stairs built for me.
House approx 18 years old, original plans (which have copy of) had veranda, but this was not built. Now looking to build veranda in pressure treated timber. 62' front width, 17' and 22' on sides. No existing slab so slab on grade required or post footings for verticals. House is vinyl sided, so require shingle roof to veranda and tie-ins. Would like to consider running some light fittings and outdoor receptacles within vernada. Some existing steps would require modification, plus connection of veranda through existing fence on one side with gate and steps required. Vernada flooring to be either close boarded or as per decking, but with mesh below. Thanks.
