We are looking to renovate our laundry room, bathroom and the small hallway adjoining them.
Our home was built in 1997
Laundry Room
94.5" x 61"
Currently there is wire shelving, washer, dryer, sink and laminate flooring in the laundry room. We would like to install a counter top, new sink, cabinets, a tile back splash, a new light fixture.
Bathroom
62" x 50"
Currently we have a toilet and a vanity with a sink. There is also tiling on the floor. We would like to put in a new sink (either with a smaller vanity or a pedestal sink), a new light fixture, and any other decorative suggestions.
Hallway
40" x 149"
Currently the hallway is tiled
We would like to run the same tiles throughout all three spaces. Online estimate.
I'm in Oakville, in a 2-story detached home. We have a finished basement (around 6-700 sq ft).
I'd like to do 2 things:
- Convert the laundry room into a 3-piece bathroom
- Reduce our furnace room size so there's a bit more open space
Video of laundry room is here:click here Can you provide a quote for how much this would cost + how long it would take?
Hi!
We're looking for the following projects to be completed this week (the week of June 7).
Installing baseboard trim on the second floor and in a small basement room (approx. 200 linear feet total between all rooms).
Installing bathroom vanity (already purchased);
Installing shower faucet (already purchased);
Installing two interior doors (already purchased).
**Must have at least first vaccine shot**
The master bath is not big its 8 x 12 in size and its from 1986. Wanted to give it a fresh look by adding a double vanity, soaker tub and tile shower. The Shower currently backs into a hallway linen closet which I want to expand into to make the shower a bit larger. I don't want to change the position of the current fixtures just modernize it.
Thank you
We have several projects we want to do as follows:
- Masterbedroom/ Washroom renovation: combine the current Master bedroom with the adjacent bedroom, change floor from carpet to hardwood, expand current window to either larger bay window or small deck with frenchdoor, expand current mainfloor washroom with larger shower room and make connection to the master bedroom
- Driveway, Hardscaping, Exterior: change current asphalt driveway to driveway with interlock, update steps to the main door, replace aluminium sidings
I am looking for a contractor who can work on our master bedroom/washroom renovation. We would like to expand and upgrade our main washroom, open up the wall between the two bedrooms and put hardwood floor for these two bedrooms. We would also like to create a small deck to our master bedroom and enlarge the window for the other bedroom. We are planning this project this summer and would like to hear from any contractor who is willing to work on this project.
Have two bathroom vanities that need to be replaced. Job would include removal of existing vanities, and complete installation of the new ones. One vanity is a single sink, being replaced with a single sink. The second vanity is currently a single sink, being replaced with a double sink.
House 1961. Looking at approximately 5.5 x7 ft. bathroom in basement, new. Want toilet, sink and shower. Waste stack is 4-5 feet away, will need to break concrete to access drain.
Owner has some knowledge, enough to know to let the professionals do their thing. Some demolition necessary (remove existing floring and ceiling that can be done by owner).
Owner can also do electrical, drywall and tyling of shower and floor. Looking for everything elase to be contracted, drainage, venting, plumbing etc. framing.
Will consider benefit of custom shower versus store bought enclosure. Would like neo angle.
I'm looking to add a bathroom to a second floor bedroom in my home in Oakville Glen Abbey. The bedroom sits above the garage. There is a first floor half bath that backs onto the garage wall. Plumbing can be connected through the garage wall and up to the garage ceiling to get to the new bathroom. The new bathroom will be right above the wall where the plumbing comes up so the plumbing does not have to go far across the garage ceiling. The new bathroom will be 6x10 of existing space. The walk in closet wall will be moved over by 2 feet to make extra room for the bathroom. I have the finishing materials like vanity, toilet, shower glass, shower base and tiles. Need a quote on labor. I can handle permits but I need the contractor to complete the contractor portions of the forms. See pics. Please provide a rough estimate or estimate range if possible.

We are the owners of the house and are requesting a quote on renovating my basement bathroom, shower toilet and laundry room.
This room was finished when we bought the house 10 years ago. It has a raised floor to allow for the drain pipes to run to the main drain. We decided we did not need the shower so we took out the shower walls base and door but left all the piping and sealed them off.
The ceiling vent was joined to the dryer vent and flows to one outside opening. This caused lots of moisture problems.
The room is almost square 9 feet wide by 8 feet long and 7 feet high.
The ceiling requires a maintenance free material that is moister proof and allows access for servicing. It should be insulated if required.
New lighting is needed in the ceiling that is energy efficient.
We need two separate fans in the room. One fan for the dryer and one fan for the room. Another outside vent needs to be constructed on the outside of the house for the extra fan. The fans need approved metal air tubes. An insulated box is required around the tubes that vent to the two outside with rodent proof covers.
The piping for the toilet , shower , laundry tub and washer should be examined to determine the most functional and cost effective way to proceed.
A new showed floor and doors need to be installed.
All electrical outlets and switches should be upgraded to the most efficient and power saving units.
The door to the room will depend on the type of floor that is installed and may require a new frame and handle.
The outside walls are not part of the project.
The owners will purchase all construction material that is agreed upon.
The contractor will be responsible for removing all the demolition and construction material on a daily basis and leaving the room in a clean, safe and dust free state.

I am looking to have either a tub surround installed or have the walls re-tiled depending on cost, as well as installation of new faucets and shower head.
The shower measures 5 feet wide by 6 feet tall by 2.5 feet deep.
I assume that what is in place is original to the house (1989)
Will keep the current tub that is already in place.
