I have a project that I need to move forward with. It includes a redo of one side of my fence with gate (60 ft) plus a redo of my deck (620 sqft)...both with pressure-treated wood. I am located in the Burloak/Lakeshore area of Oakville and am eager to move forward. Please advise if you are available to perform this work.
Thank you in advance.
I need some one to retile my porch. There are 5 steps and each about 4 and half feet wide and 10 inch in height. The old tiles have been removed from 4 steps but one step still needs the old tiles removed. The project would require removing remaining thin set on steps and retiling all the steps. I will provide the tiles, groute and thin set. I live near third line and uppermidle, oakville
We would like to have a deck built 12 x18 it is a bout 3 ft of the ground which means 4x4 posts in the ground and will have a 5ft wide staircase in the middle, it should have a railing with 2x2 ballusters. To attach a deck to the rear elevatio of a modest (1,600 sq ft) home in West Oakville. Ground conditions include both soil and gravel backfill. Deck will be flat and at a height approx 1.5 ft above ground level with one step to back door of the house and one step down to the garden. The deck will be surrounded by a simple fence.
Renew our existing brick deck (size 16X24 feet)
- Replace current 6x6 wood frame with new frames
- Remove the red bricks, clean up (weed), re-level the ground by adding some lime stone/sand
- Put the red bricks back, level and set
(we will re-use the red brick tiles - we already power-washed them)
Replace one side of front step tiles
- Remove one side of tiles (around 8 feet in length)
- Replace with our new tiles (We will provide the tiles)
I need someone to replace the floorboards of my two-tiered deck - and new steps. Joists are sturdy and in good condition, but I want all the floorboards replaced rather than just the few in bad shape. Also require two privacy screens to replace the current ones, which at pretty much just fences, so new ones should be less wood and cost.
Upper tier is 16 ft x 19 ft, and lower tier is 11.5 ft x 16 ft. Three steps from upper tier to yard, and one step from lower tier to yard.
Remove existing walkway and create new stamped concrete front walkway and patio area, backyard patio area with steps, side walkway to back yard with steps.
Project is in Oakville in the area of Upper Middle Rd & 6th Line. Would like to meet on project site ASAP to discuss.

Looking to get our 3 year old cedar deck stripped and restrained.
Details of deck:
- Roughly 400 square feet of flat rectangular space - no spindles, no posts as deck rails are all glass with steel posts.
- Has stairs to lower level which will also need to be stripped and stained - there are no spindles!
- 150 square feet of screening (cedar) will also need to be stained but not stripped as the wood was never treated.
- Deck is elevated and runs off kitchen above basement walk out.
- Important to not get stain on patio stones below deck.
- No carpentry work is required.
This is a modification to an existing concrete porch. We want to add a wood tongue and groove top, which requires the current stairs to be backfilled first (with something cheap like cinder blocks). Then a new set of wide wooden stairs to be built out from the new porch. Lattice skirting to be applied to finish the look.
