We have an existing fence that has 4 broken fence posts and I also have another broken post on the gate
We are looking for a quote to replace all the posts vs replace the entire fence.
The fence is wooden, is approximately 18 years old and overall in not great shape. It has 7 fence posts plus the fence post on one side and the gate. I am also considering replacing the other side.
Good Morning,
We recently bought a freehold executive end unit town house in Oakville (Third line and Dundas). The home is 4 years old. We close on the house April 30th and would like to install the fence soon thereafter. The Builder has installed a 8' long privacy fence between the unit's which we would like to extend to the back fence that is also existing is existing. We would also like to install a gate and fence to the other side of the property as we are the end unit. Other houses on our street have done this already with the exception of a few. Would you be able to give us a ball park number on how much we're looking at? The total fence length would be a maximum of 50'
Thanks,
Paul
I would like to set up a date/time for a fence repair quote in Oakville. Posts need to be replaced and set in cement, fence material is metal and could probably be reused. Not sure if the entire length needs to be addressed, I will let the professionals tell me. Backing onto light industrial.
A short portion of the fence is down after the thunderstorm as one of the posts (on which the door is attached) is out of the ground.
The work will require -
1. Unhinge the door from the post
2. Ground the post back
3. Hinge the door back.
Looking for a repair over the weekend. Please confirm asap.
I live in Oakville and I am interested in a fence repair, replacing broken/rotten posts or a new fence depending on the cost. (River Oaks location).
My fence is shared with 2 neighbours, who are agree to fix the fence.
There is a potential to get more work from other neighbours ?
I am ready to start the project as soon as the weather permits.
Thank you
We have a 20 year old fence on our property and a few sections collapsed from the wind storm and must be replaced. Three six foot sections collaped and three others should be replaced. The fence is treated wood with lattice on top. Our neighbour has a few sections the need rebuilding as well.
Given the warm weather now, it would be great to get it done this week while we are home.
Looking for a review of our current fence situation to determine whether a full replacement of our section of fence is required, or if some of it can be salvaged and just the posts replaced. Either way, looking for a quote on the work required.
Pressure treated wood is acceptable. The length of the fence is roughly 90 feet. Looking for fence to be 6ft tall with lattice on top. Similar to existing so that it matches rest of fencing.
Fence between our neighbours and us has partly collapsed and may need to be replaced. It concerns approximately 60 feet between the houses and 12 feet across the front, including two gates. The existing fence is 6 feet tall wood with the top 1 foot being lattice.
We would like replacement in kind but are open to suggestions
I am looking for a quote to replace a traditional 6' residential wooden fence with lattice in Oakville for approximately 150 Linear feet.
Two prices sought.
One for demo and remove old and one if I demo the fence myself.
Than You, looking forward to receiving quotes and approximate dates available.
One side of the yard is shared with the neighbor and is currently wood panel fencing that requires replacement. The yard backs to community greenspace with the provided chain link fence. We would like to put a wood fence up against the chain link to provide additional privacy. Looking for wood 6-ft high fencing to match existing fence on the third side. Willing to look at alternative materials, but need to ensure fence and gate are able to restrain dogs.
Project
I need a quote on the installation of 200 foot Pressure Treated wood fence. The posts should be 6 X 6. The height will be maximum or most economical option. The existing posts and fenceboards have been removed and the area is ready for installation. Ok to quote post holes only if you wish.
Must be licenced to install fence in Oakville.
Please bring us your quotes.

Hello, I have a fence that is 48 feet long. I currently have 6x6 posts, six in total right now. I live between 2 homes so corner posts already in place, one is a concrete pillar. I need the current fence taken down and a new pressure treated fence installed. I would also like to add a gate. I am not looking for anything fancy.
Hi there!
I have a project that I need to move forward with. It includes a redo of one side of my fence with gate (60 ft) plus a redo of my deck (620 sqft)...both with pressure-treated wood. I am located in the Burloak/Lakeshore area of Oakville and am eager to move forward. Please advise if you are available to perform this work.
Thank you in advance.

I understand you will not be taking on any more projects until the fall. I would really appreciate it if I could please get just a quick quote for the installation of a 4 ft. high chain link fence that measures approximately 50 ft in length. I am trying to end a dispute with my neighbour in regards to a shared fence.
Windstorm tipped over and blew apart about 7 (8 foot) sections of our neighbour-shared PT wood / lattice topped fence - 5 ft boards with 1 ft lattice. About 7 more sections are now askew and will also need to be replaced. Neighbour is also considering replacement of his entire perimeter fence of about 250 feet.
Insurance has given the go ahead to get quotes.
I have a Home Depot style garden fence with a gate. The post connected to the gate has broken at ground level. What is needed?
1. The broken post attachments to the gate on one side and the fence on the other need to be unscrewed.
2. The post foundation for that one post needs to be removed and replaced with a new post (set in its own new foundation).
3. The fence and gate should be reattached to the new post.
I have the new post (actually a 12' post (from Home Depot) that needs to be cut back to 10' - I never had the time to cut it when I bought it at Home Depot recently :(
I also have the builder tube and sacrete for the foundation, and new attachments and screws for reconnecting the fence to the new post.
Please provide your estimate for this job (and I plan to do this immediately that I have a quote for the job that I am satisfied with).
Thanks for your attention!
-I need an approximately 40-50ft fence built between myself and my neighbour.
-Location is a townhouse that backs onto a park trail, so the only access is through the house (unless a permit from the town of Oakville can be acquired to access from the trail, but I don't think this is possible.)
-Attached is a photo, it shows a small piece of fence that needs to be torn down, as well as the fence to the other side of the property that I would like the new fence to mirror as far as dimensions go (taller near the house, as I plan to build a deck)
We would need to replace an existing wooden fence, approximately 60 ft long. 4 panels have been damaged by the wind this year (3 completely blown down). We would only require one length of the fence to hopefully get it to match (as close as possible) to our existing back and side fence.
Thank you
My lot is is about 60 x 120. It is perpendiicular to street.
Far back side (60') had wooden fence. It was about 40 years old, only 1/3 of it left.
Left side has about 25 ft of chain link fence.
Right side has about 60 ft chain link fence.
I need new wooden fence on all three sides.
About 8' high, some additional privacy screens on top might be needed.
