I have to replace old parquet flooring which we will be taking out next week with 6" white oak flooring. This is going on a second level of a renovated home with a staircase that is curved. We need to lift the nosing as the hardwood that is being installed is much thicker than the original parquet. It is a curved nosing on one side about 8 feet and other side about 7 feet. Please quote me price for this type of job.
Hello,
Looking for someone to remove the existing carpet on my staircase and have the stairs redone by installing wood panels.
There are 17 stairs in total. I would also like to paint the railing white. There are 30 beans/joists in the railing - not sure of the terminology but would also like to consider painting them white.
If someone could provide me with a quote for redoing the stairs with and without the railing then that would be great.
I am ready to stat the work yesterday!
We have a medium sized kitchen area of 220 sq ft that has ceramic tiles. We want to have either hardwood or laminate installed, soon as I can find a closer match to the hardwood we currently have elsewhere (having problems matching so far) I probably/possibly will take out the ceramic myself for this job.
I'm looking for quotes for installing laminate flooring in a house that I will be moving into first week of August. The house currently has hardwood floor in main floor hallway, carpeting in living room, carpeting on second floor. I am also considering replacing staircase which is currently carpeted, depending on cost. Attached are some pictures. I will most likely purchase the laminate flooring myself so only looking for quotes for labour/installation. Square footage of area that needs to have flooring updated is approximately 1400 square feet.
Small kitchen requries a new counter tops, backsplash, upgrade existing lights plus install new ones over the kitchen countertop. Remove carpet and install either hardwood or engineering floor.
My budget is in the range from $5,000 to max. $10,000, that included materials, labour and taxes.
Hello,
Please provide me a quote for laminate installation for 500sqf area. This area includes all the stairs and second floor of a row townhouse in Oakville. Quote should include price for carpet removal and all/any required furniture move. I can buy the laminate from you if get a good price.
Thanks,
Abdul
We have a finished basement and are looking for the carpet to be replaced with laminate. We are looking for the stairs, rec room and a small office in the basement to be replaced with laminate. 600-800 sq ft...small basement (not exactly sure if that is the right size).
Also looking for the existing bathroom in our basement to be redone. Toilet, sink and tub replaced and the tub switched to a stand up shower.
There will also be some dry wall patching, painting and changing 2 doors to complete the job.
Looking for someone that can do this type of work. Again it is a small job but because the basement is finished shouldn't be too difficult.
Looking for a quote for the following work we need done:
Removal + Disposal:
80 SQ FT of ceramic tiles
540 SQ FT of laminate floors
Installation:
620 SQ FT of laminate floors
baseboard & shoe mould
Re-face stairs to match laminate
Replace 4 door trims
Please give me a rough quote for this project
small condo laminate floor installation on the ground floor . Removal of carpet and install in living and bedroom area which is about 550 square feet. Baseboards will also need to be installed. Looking to have the work completed in between December 4 and Decemeber 10th, I am flexible.
Note that the condo is currently occupied by tenants and going to see the place in person is very limited.
have several jobs that need to be done but the first one involves flooring, including some sub-floor or floor joist repair work.
I am looking for an estimate on replacing the hardwood on my main floor with an engineered hardwood or similar product (I'll provide the product, unless you can get a good price). The area that needs to be replaced covers approximately 500 sq. ft.. It includes a dining room, a living room, a hallway, and two 5-step sets of stairs. The stairs need some work as they are poorly installed (the tops of the risers don't sit flush with the floor - you'll have to see it as it's difficult to explain). Also, the floor is not perfectly level so either the subfloor needs some repair/leveling or the floor joists need some repair. The base boards need replacing as well. The home is about 21 years old.
I bought this home recently and there are about a dozen VERY poorly-done renovations completed by the previous homwowner that need fixing. Most of the fixes require carpentry/framing and some finishing and drywall work. I'm looking for the right individual or team that I can potentially work with over the next 18-24 months to fix all of these problems.
If you have at least 7 years of experience, are business and trade licensed, have references, and are (ideally) a BILD member, I would like to set up a time to meet with you so that you can inspect the project and provide an estimate on this job.
Thanks,
Franco
