small condo laminate floor installation on the ground floor . Removal of carpet and install in living and bedroom area which is about 550 square feet. Baseboards will also need to be installed. Looking to have the work completed in between December 4 and Decemeber 10th, I am flexible.
Note that the condo is currently occupied by tenants and going to see the place in person is very limited.
have several jobs that need to be done but the first one involves flooring, including some sub-floor or floor joist repair work.
I am looking for an estimate on replacing the hardwood on my main floor with an engineered hardwood or similar product (I'll provide the product, unless you can get a good price). The area that needs to be replaced covers approximately 500 sq. ft.. It includes a dining room, a living room, a hallway, and two 5-step sets of stairs. The stairs need some work as they are poorly installed (the tops of the risers don't sit flush with the floor - you'll have to see it as it's difficult to explain). Also, the floor is not perfectly level so either the subfloor needs some repair/leveling or the floor joists need some repair. The base boards need replacing as well. The home is about 21 years old.
I bought this home recently and there are about a dozen VERY poorly-done renovations completed by the previous homwowner that need fixing. Most of the fixes require carpentry/framing and some finishing and drywall work. I'm looking for the right individual or team that I can potentially work with over the next 18-24 months to fix all of these problems.
If you have at least 7 years of experience, are business and trade licensed, have references, and are (ideally) a BILD member, I would like to set up a time to meet with you so that you can inspect the project and provide an estimate on this job.
Thanks,
Franco

Hello there,
I am moving into a new house (re-sale, 10 years old). I thought I'd be happy to carpet clean the bedrooms and hallway connecting but on second thought am thinking it will drive me crazy to have 10 year old carpets where the owners had two large cats. I'm looking for a quote on both tearing up the carpet and laying down laminate. I would have to have it done on June 29 as I'm having the big move in day on June 30. Not sure if this is a job that can get done in a day. The rooms are not large unfortunately. Master is about 10x14, probably 10x12 and 8x10. Hall way makes its way around the stair case - not a long extended hallway. I know this isn't much time to assess and I have no way of letting anyone in until the actual day or the evening of the 28th so I need to work with someone who is happy to provide rough quotes and some contingency.
Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for someone to come in, take up the floor, sound proof and then relay the flooring. Quality and Price are the main considerations for this job. Time to begin ranges, but could be as early as 2 weeks from now.
