Hello we require the following work be completed commencing this Friday or Saturday:
- supply labor to install steel stud frame approx 700 sq ft ceiling, steel stud frame approx. 20 linear ft by 14 avg height
- supply labour to install T-bar approx 73 sq ft
- supply labor to install drywall for 1500 sq ft ceiling plus 3150 sq ft walls total 4650 sq ft approx, to hang corner bead
- cut out pot light locations, provisions for 3-4 access panels
- supply labour to tape mud sand walls to a level 4 ready for paint
- supply labour to prime and paint 2 coats on all walls and ceilings
- mount air curtain above front entrance door
- supply labour to install sound proof 90 linear ft by 14 avg 1260 sq ft
- install 5 pocket doors and 2 swing doors with kits hardware reinforce frame as needed
- paint and install 205 linear ft of baseboard
- remove dispose 1100 sq ft existing sub floor 1/4" plywood subfloor and install new 3/4" plywood sub floor
- Install 1100 sq. ft of vinyl plank floor

General contractor requires framing crew to remove main floor of a side split and build a second story above which includes a master bedroom, bathroom and den also require front of house bumped out approx 26x10 ft. Remove and protect existing area over living room and kitchen approx 26x22, second floor and roof framing for second storey addition 26x28 deep, Interested parties who are able to commit to a mid to late start date in July please respond and who can do it in a timely manner prefer to hire local crews/
I require the services of a framer with roof structure experience to add a rake and fly rafters to an existing gable end which currently ends flush with the front wall of the building. I anticipate this will require that a portion of the existing roofing will need to be removed and the rake integrated with the existing roof structure and sheathing. The gable end framing may need to be reworked as it looks marginal to me. The house is essentially a single story cottage so the roof peak is quite low. Existing roof structure is 2X4 rafters with tongue and groove boards. Quality and appearance is critical as this is part of a longer term renovation plan. Scabbing something on the end will not do it! In addition there are 4 or 5 existing rafters which have bowed putting a dip in the roof - these need to be sistered or replaced. Timing is crucial as a complete re-roof is scheduled to start November 6 2006. The job needs to be completed well before this date and made temporarily weatherproof.
