We are a rapidly growing kitchen and bath renovation company in Oakville and are looking for subcontractors you can complete bathrooms from tear out to finish, kitchen installations and general renovation work such as tear out, drywall, framing, painting. Please contact us to discuss your qualifications.
We would like to take down part of, what seems to be, a load bearing wall between our Kitchen and Dining room areas. We live in a Semi-Detached house and would like to open up the area for the creation of a more functional living area.
We would like to know what steps we might need to take to make this happen. Do we need architectural drawings made? Can we do the removal of the wall ourselves and just have someone finish up the final work? What supports would need to be put in so that the structural integrity is not affected? Who can do this? What might it cost? When can it be done? How long would it take?
We would like to add trim to our lovely Ikea kitchen so that it does not look like an Ikea Kitchen. The Fronts are Adel Off-White so moulding, colour, and gloss should look similar.
Primary Work:
- replacing the plain side and back panels of a 24" x 78" kitchen island
- replacing the 24" x 96" side panel on our kitchen pantry
- replacing the 24" x 60" side panel from the counter to the ceiling
Secondary Work:
- fixing the shitty base trim done by our previous contractors (78"+15"+156"+24" )
- adding nicer moulding under uppers (60")
- adding 2" tall crown to fill the gap from the uppers to the bulkhead (204")
Note that the bulkhead does not look like the ISO view -- it protrudes an extra 2" beyond the upper cabinets in all directions.
Hello,
I have a kitchen and living area that is separated by a wall. I want to find out if I can knock the wall out and if I can, I would like someone to knock the wall out for me, and move some cupboards in my kitchen. Can you help me?
Right now I am looking for a quote or estimate and someone to tell me if the job can even be done as I am not sure, and have no idea what a job like this would cost.
Thank you,
Rick Christiansen
