Hi there,
I have a partially finished basement which was unfortunatley was constructed by the previous owner with some shabby workmanship. I don't have the budget to redo the entire basement, but there is a spare bedroom that I would like renovated properly so that I can use it as a decent guest bedroom. The work will involve checking and organizing messy electrical wires hanging from the ceiling to make sure they are safe, organizing cables hanging from the ceiling, hiding an electrical panel from view, drywalling the ceiling, covering an HVAC vent, and installing proper framing for the door. Also, I would like to have a wall taken down to make the main space more open. This will involve rebuilding a wall in an adjacent space.
We need to gut the bathroom of an old farmhouse. The bathroom needs a new floor, window, vanity with sink, toilet and tub, all of which would be purchased and ready to go for whoever takes the job. There's a good chance the walls should come out and be replaced with drywall. The electrical is getting upgraded in September.
We'd like it done within a one-week period in September.
We need an estimate and references.
Basement is approx 1200 sq ft:

I am a house stylist who is helping clients design their basement into an apartment. I am looking for contractors to bring the vision to life. The contractors will be communicating and working with me throughout the process, I will be the main point of contact.
I am looking for quotes for: the framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, taping, doors & trim, kitchen installation, tiling, flooring and painting. I have attached a rough layout of the basement. It is just shy of 700 sq. ft. The basement is not roughed in for plumbing, so this will be required. The clients are looking at a budget of $45-$55,000.
