Do I purchase fixtures first or you purchase? I have included a before and what look I'm going for (grey picture) and it's a small bathroom. I have many other reno I want done so starting with quotes first.
Thank you so much.
My name is Kim. I need to make my elderly mothers bathroom accessible for her. I need the tub to come out, walk in shower built and toilet and sink switched. I would like to switch them so the door can be made bigger for possibility of a walker one day.
The house is around 62 years old. Probably lathe and plaster.
25 year old house, bathroom is 11'7x5' (5'tub). currenty has 72" vanity. Would like smaller vanity and toilet moved over a foot so not blocking tub access. Tile floor, tile tub surround and new tub, new vanity with linen cabinet on one side and drawers, waterfall faucet, shelving recessed between studs...STORAGE
Looking to have the surround for the tub replace in my bathroom, currently it has formica wallboard that is starting to bubble in places. I don't believe it has damaged the wall behind hit so if the wallboard can be removed without damaging the wall the would be ideal. Needs to be removed and replace. Was looking at some sort of a plastic like surround or one piece wall insert. Figure over time that would stand up better, considered tile but not as water tight should caulking start to go. Also wanted to have the faucet replaced, would like one of the larger shower heads installed. Storage area's attached to the surround for items (ie. shampoo, soap, etc) and would like to have doors added. I am not looking to replace the tub though.
Looking to have bathtub reno'd. tiled walls will need to be torn down, re-dry walled, tiled. Tub needs to be stripped and reglazed or touched up, if that's an option. size is 30"x58 3/4"x30"
