Bonjour,
We are looking for a company to renovate our kitchen.
The project consist of making a 12 by 12 kitchen into a 18 by 12 extending the kitchen into a breakfast nook. This renovation includes moving a ceramic stove top which requires moving the stove fan (ventilation in floor, and some electrical. It includes building a pantry, build in computer desk with storage and an Island. Some flooring required. We are looking at reusing most of what is existing if possible.
Size of island approximately 3 by 6. Pantry, 2.5 by 2 by 8
Size of build in for computer, 2 pantry same size as above middle desk .
We would like a quote, proposal and possibly design ideas.
Hello,
I was given your company name from a community group on Facebook and I am hoping to get some information/input and quote and timeline estimates for our renovation plan.
We are wanting to remove a wall between the kitchen and the dining room (we know that there is HVAC and some plumbing in this wall that would have to be considered/relocated). We would also like to remove an archway type wall/feature between the dining/living space and remove all the popcorn ceiling. We are also hoping to make some cosmetic changes to the floors - we currently have hardwood and some tile and are hoping to sand and re-stain the hardwood a different colour and possibly change the tile.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Jill
I bought my home in 2003. It was built by Minto in 1980. It has very few upgrades and still has its original kitchen. It is a high ranch model home with a split staircase going to top floor and basement from the front entry door. There is a wall that divides the living room from the kitchen, which I would like to remove and create an open concept. I want a new kitchen/cabinets with an island and new appliances. There is a wood stove that I would like to remove completely or replace with a small gas or electric fireplace. Porcelain floor in the kitchen and hardwood floor in the living room, hallway, and stairs. I also have a new home theatre to install in the living room. We would like black cabinets, and possibly black hardwood floor.
Looking for a quote to finish off lower level--- move Washer/Dryer about 10 feet, put in toilet and walk in shower (piping already there).
Take down existing 2x4's and open room completely, build a wall to finish off washer/dryer/utility room---
Possible drop ceiling or just paint joists and ductwork--
Sub floor / carpeting... pot lighting... open to suggestions
Lower level will be used for "rec room" with pool table, rec room area and bookshelves.

We live in Orleans and are looking to open up our living space on the first floor.
We have a a floor plan like this:
-------------------
| | I want the L shaped wall in he middle removed.
| | | I believe one might be a load bearing wall electric in wall.
| | | Both walls are approx 10 feet long on first floor maybe 9-10 feet high
| ---- ------ | One faces kitchen the other the living room.
| | House built in 2002 no previous reno's
|-----------------| Looking to do in the next month.
Thank you.
We had recently installed & levelled a 10X8 shed foundation of limestone and patio stones. However, the foundation has somehow sunk in some areas and it is so "out of whack" now that we have given up and want to hire someone to do it ASAP.
I would like to know how much it would be to repair and re-level the foundation as well as the price to out it together after the foundation and wood frame are completed. The shed is advertised as to be able to be put together in 3-4 hours. Since you will have more experience in doing these kind of things, you could probably do it in about that amount of time.
Please advise ASAP
Thank you
Quote to build a study and hobby room (approx 210F2) in basement adjacent to existing finished basement family room. Space for study wide open (blank canvas) requiring 2 walls, bulkhead, cupboard, electrical, flooring and finished ceiling. Would like to know apprx ballpark cost per square foot for finished product.
Square footage is 20X 30 or 600sq.ft.
Have both a front and back door, laundry room with toilet and shower.
Would probably have to be gutted and redesigned.
Heating would be separate from main house and with a new electrical panel. I am thinking of radiant floor electrical as there is no basement. I need advice. ))
I am looking for a professional to give me proper advice on design.
Definitely NO MORE fly- by -nighters from kijji.
So--New electrical, new insulation -ceiling, floors and walls. new kitchen and new bathroom
Our kitchen is approximately 25 x 12 feet. In between our kitchen and living room is a wall with an entrance way. We would like to take down this wall (there's a corner with a closet that is also being removed). And we would like to rebuild the wall about 10 feet in. The new wall would be about 12-15 feet. The plan for the new doorway is french pocket doors. It is possible that we will need an engineer since likely part of the wall is load-bearing. Our house was built in 1978. After the wall is done we plan on renovating the kitchen and tiling the floor. We may do this project on our own so for now we would only like a quote on the wall.
I have wood trim around my house (everywhere except the front), which is not capped and has started to rot in one spot on my chimney. I'd like to get the rotting pieces replaced and capped (capped? flashed? I hope I'm using the proper term!) so I won't have to worry about it any longer. I would like for all of the wood trim around the rest of the house to be capped, as well.
I have posted some photos here so you can get a better idea of the condition of the wood on the chimney, and a look at the trim on the other side of the house: click here contact me if you'd like to get a better look and give me an estimate.
Thanks!
