My bathroom needs to be renovated. Currently there is a jacuzzi tub but it leaks throught the jets down through to the floor below. I beleive the floor underneith may be rotten out. I would like to have the ceramic tiles replaced as they are cracked. I may possiblty need a new sub floor all together from the leaking. My sink and cabinets are fine, I don't need it re painted or a new toilette. Just looking to get the floor replaced along with a new tub. Also, since the tub has jets in it, I need the timer removed from the wall and the wiring removed as well. So some elecrical will be needed for the project.
Due to a leak in our foundation, we've had damage to our downstairs bathroom. As a result, we need at least two walls replaced (we've already ripped out one). We also need the ceiling repaired (drywall is hanging down). In addition, we would like a new vanity, toilet, sink, faucet, fixture, and tiles (all floor tiles popped up from water damage). The bathroom is a 2 pc bathroom and we are not adding to it as we will be moving in the spring. We would just like to repair and update. The timeline for this project can be flexible (preferably in the fall) and can even be done in sections, since no one uses it. However, I would like to get a quote and book someone within the next week or two, so that I know time for our project has been reserved.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Main floor bathroom: removal of built in shower stall, capping of water pipes and drain. Repairs to walls behind removed shower stall. Ceramic tile floor. Paint walls and ceiling. Install new toilet and sink. Approx floor size is 60 sq ft. I have already purchased toilet, sink, fauct and paint. Old toilet has been removed. Location is Garrard rd., Whitby
Approx 5' X 9'8" bathroom in 22 year old house requiring renovation. Problems with rotting subfloor between tub and toilet so flooring needs to be pulled up, new underlay put down and new flooring installed. This of course means the tub and tile have to come out as well, so we've realized that we may as well do a full bathroom reno.
Need new standard acrylic tub (no jets); toto toilet; vanity with sink; light fixture; chrome fixtures for sink and bathtub (probably Moen though open to other suggestions); old everything pulled out and disposed of; new cement board, vapour barrier and insulation for outside wall as needed; retile tub and possibly floor - not sure at this point if we want to go with vinyl sheet or ceramic tile - tbd. Bulkhead above current vanity to be removed and fixed with drywall. New window in tub area also to be installed (approx 38" wide by 31" high) - single slider.
Drywall fixed and patched as needed and everything painted.
This is our main family bathroom and is heavily used by 4 family members. We want it to look nice and have good quality materials etc, but aren't looking for anything fancy or extravangant.
I have recently moved into a townhouse condo in Oshawa, and am looking to get several renovations done. My first priority is the upstairs bathroom. I would like to remove the current tub (it is a standard size jet tub with shower that has seen better days) and convert it to a standing shower with glass doors. My mother lives with me, so I would like to include a seat in the shower, as well as a grab bar and shelves included in the walls. I would also like to replace the medicine cabinet and single sink vanity.
The previous owners also seemed to not use the fan during their showers, and so there is also a great deal of paint peeling above the shower. So, I would also like this scraped off and the bathroom given a new paint job (note: it is a fairly small bathroom).
Complete gutting out of bathroom. Minor mildew issue (no fan). Would like to use mid-range finishes. Tile on floor and in shower. Size (approximate) 6x8.
Build small linen closet outside of bathroom (approximate-2.5x1.5)
Replace flooring on 2nd floor, with mid-grade product.
We have two main floor bathrooms. One with a sink, toilet and tub, the other one with a sink and stand up shower. These rooms are back to back and we would like to combine them into one as well as adding a 3ft X 5ft section from an adjoining room for a walk in shower. Tiled floor and shower walls, 55" X 55" corner tub, new vanity/sink, pot lights. The current dimensions of the two rooms combined is approximately 5ft X 12.5ft.
We would be interested in having a contractor over to give us a quote on the job.
I have one potential bathroom in my basement. When I moved in, the floor was dug up and light installed but previous owners did not complete the bathroom. I am looking to just put in a toilet and sink, and different lights. I also have a main bathroom on the top floor which needs the floors tiled and a new sink put in, and possibly the toilet replaced with a energy efficient one. I would really like another estimate. I have gotten 1 contractor in and he quoted me one price and then over the phone getting him to come in and do the job was near impossible! Only serious contractors please.
I am looking for estimates on remodeling a basement bathroom. It currently has a small shower, toilet and vanity sink. The shower is about 20 yrs old and leaking. I want to remove the shower, push the existing wall back to expand the area in the room by a few feet and then add possibly a tub with shower or at least a larger shower.
Complete bathroom overhaul. We have a small bathroom as our only bathroom. Right now, it's an awkward shape and it's very difficult to move around in it.
We need 1 wall moved back about a foot, and another wall removed and re-installed properly (poor workmanship and awkward shape right now). Plumbing fixtures for toilet, sink, and tub/shower will need to be moved. All new fixtures need to be installed. Ceiling is a tile drop ceiling over old flaking plaster (needs something done with it). We have a vent that is either broken or not installed properly. Please email us or call us if you're interested in giving us a quote by friday. We would like to start the job asap.
We are looking to completely renovate our bathroom and replace all items. We would like to purchase the tub, sink, vanity, medicine cabinet, and lighting ourselves, We are looking to remove all walls and floor to reinsulate (which we are willing to insulate and vapour barrier ourselves it that makes it easier.
Please give me your best estimate, and time required.
Please provide a quote high - low price estimate.

Hello,
I have bought the tiles and all the grout etc to do the job. But after doing the floor i'm afraid to do my shower. It involves the ceiling as well. I didnt do very well cutting around the floor drains so Im not attempting cutting around the shower and taps. lol
I called 2 other contractors that didnt bother to show up or call. So you are my lucky charm hopefully.
I have a 60 inch shower to be tiled and shower door to be installed. The floor is an insert. Just the walls and ceiling need to be tiled. I have a sliding glass door to be installed as well.
I have photos of the area that can be sent by e mail. I'm looking for an estimate of the cost of the job.
Thanks for your help. Can you give me a date and time to come look at the job. I'm in north oshawa Ritson Conlin area.

Please show estimates for each job seperately:
1st Bathroom upper floor: Need whole new bathroom. Plumbing leakes a little downstairs, need to fix hole in lower ceiling. Want new Vanity and New Bathtub, possibly new ceiling fan.
2nd Bathroom: Suggestions needed: Small bathroom in basement, in-law suite. Need to check all plumbing. New shower, New Toliet, New Sink. Maybe even new floor and walls moved.
Bathroom renovationis required as it is 30 yrs old. Bathtub is off colour. **Husband is disabled and we need safety bars installed for showering. New flooring around tub and stool should be installed as it is tiled and grouting is worn. If possible, the counter top, 2 mirrors and sink, tap could be upgraded. The shower head is energy efficient from Enbridge. For now, we would like an online estimate.
We have a walk in shower that needs to ripped down. We bought a bathtub to install. We would like to know how much to rip out the shower and install new a bathtub and tiles would be? It is a townhouse. It was built in the late 1970's. I don't know how long the shower has been there but we are sure that there was a bathtub there before as the walk in shower is about 5 feet in length.
We are looking to have our bathtub replaced. We currently have tile walls surrounding it which will need to be replaced as well. We would like a quote for that but would be open to quotes for re-doing the entire bathroom as well. The bathroom is 6x7 and just had the toilet replaced and the vanity is newer as well and does not need replacing. Please send us your quotes however we are not looking to spend over $3000.
Just moved into an existing 6 year old house. Main bathroom is approximately 32 by 32. Much to small for me. I would like to replace it or expand it to minimum 38 x 38 or any other measurement up to approximately 48 x 48. Existing shower is tiled on two sides and full glass on the other two sides. Would appreciate an estimate to upsize. Plumbing would remain the same except for base - might have to be moved. Need to do something with tiles as well.
