Hi there,
I would like to revamp the stairs to the front door, I was hoping for rounded concrete stairs that could be poured over the existing concrete stairs, adding a beautiful walkway that would also provide some additional parking space along side the single car driveway. Also some new gardens in the front, possibly bringing in a few large rocks and a clump of birch trees. House is 55 yrs old, current walkway is made of patio stones which would have to be removed. Otherwise front yard is flat and approx 38 ft wide by 38 ft from sidewalk to front of house with the front door somewhat in the middle. The rise on the steps is about 3 ft with a landing area of about 8ft x 4 ft.
Approx budget -$6,000
Hello, I was hoping to have someone come out to give my husband and I a quote on making the front of the house look better. We bought the house almost 2 years ago and in the front of the house they have a flower garden that looks horrible it actually looks like a grave site (pet cemetary). We were hoping just to have a new look so it is not so high and so that it isn't going to take a lot of work to maintain. Every time we water it because it is such a high mound of dirt the dirt pours all over the walk way it is disgusting. We just need it cleaned up a bit and the right flowers put in so they come back every year. I do not have a green thumb in my body I wish I did but I don't. Please help
We live in the South end of Oshawa not to far from the lake.
Take care
Laura & Chris M
My driveway is approx 70 feet long and about 15 feet at it's widest. I can't afford to have it paved or tarred but heard that you can have someone come out and spray professional weed killer a couple of times throughout the spring/summer/fall.
How much to have this done 4 times during the above period.
Thank you.
I have a small back yard attached to my townhouse condo. Currently there is a deck that takes up about half of the yard and a large maple tree that keeps the whole yard in shade most of the time. The remaining L shaped land totals about 270 square feet of dirt. I would like to have a lush garden of easy to care for plants. I know that I will need topsoil but I am wary of proceeding on my own as I do not want any drainage issues or problems with the deck. I am looking for someone who can help me with a plan and implementation. Here is list of some things that need to be done; topsoil, cleaning and staining the deck and fence, shaping beds and planting. Also the outside tap leaks so I would like that fixed and an garden hose holder installed.
I am looking to transform a previous space occupied by an above ground pool into a relaxing backyard retreat. My initial thoughts are to install a gazebo surrounded by low maintenance gardens of some kind, perhaps a water feature if possible.
Attached is a picture of my backyard; the pool has been removed. I've attached a picture of the type of gazebo I am thinking about as well.
Need a new covering for a cement front porch, new walkway and small garden wall.
Currently have interlock and brick/stone wall but need to be redone.
Need downspout from eves integrated into new walkway. Potentially driveway border.
Looking for suggestions. Cement, new pavers (Unilock, Permacon, Techo, whatever).
Come by for a look see and discuss options based on your experience.
Also have large interlock back patio that would like re-done but may not be in budget this year.
Email me to schedule an appointment.
Thanks.
We are looking to have two steps and a walkway (about 10 feet or so) at the frount of out home. It could be either stone or interlock depending on price. Also a planter that runs alongside the walkway.
In the backyard the rear of the property has a fence but we will need to install a fence going up the two sides. We also have a builders deck from the main level (we have a walkout) so we would like to install stairs comming from the deck to ground level. According to the price we may consider adding a lower deck as well, but it may have to wait for a later date as we are on a budget.
