One possibly two relative small (95x60) bathrooms to renovate (depending on costs)
On the primary bathroom:
- No layout change,
- Vanity replacement,
- Medicine cabinet removal,
- Tub removal,
- New shower/doors with niche and pot lights, and possibly a rain shower
- Tiles (porcelain or ceramic) in the shower and the bathroom floors.
- Light fixture.
- Ceiling fan replacement
Water pipes under vanity in both bathrooms come through the floor, we would like them to be moved to the wall (drain is already in the wall) so that a wall mounted vanity can be installed.
Secondary, optional bathroom: Same as the first one but no tub removal (no shower)
We are looking for estimates on two specific projects;
1. Not looking to do a full gut or redesign, simply looking to update bathtub and surrounds (Ceramic Tile), new tile floors and vanities in ensuite and main baths. New tile floor and new vanity in the powder room.
2. Follow on project to include new tile floor in Kitchen.
Smallish 1967 split level, Alta Vista.
Two small bathrooms, 10 x 5 feet, full reno, one needs new window.
Small patch repair in bedroom (yes related to need for bathroom attention)
Refinishing of oak stairs - 10 steps, reduction of iron stains, filling of holes, refinish.
Ripping out of two crappy cupboard thing, plus possible build-in of shelves
Moving 3 ceiling lights, installation of pots in kitchen.
Happy with independant, prefer local. Schedule very open for staggered winter work. Local references very important.
Bathrooms do not have an exhaust fan at all. Need two installed and vented through the roof.
Looking for timer switches installed as well and so will need the electrical done. Do not want low quality materials used.
Both bathrooms are on the 2nd floor with attic access.
Already have 2 quotes, one very high and one very low, but the difference does not make sense. Looking for alternatives as I am unsure of either company.
We are looking at renovating two bathrooms (master and main house bathroom).
Master: floor tiling, tiled shower installation, pocket door installation, painting, toilet change
Main bathroom: three piece bath installation, floor tiling, painting, toilet change.
I work for a housing co-op and we'd like a bathroom renovated in one of our units. It currently has an old tub and tile walls that we'd like to replace with a new tub and surround walls that we have already purchased. We'd like the old tub and walls removed and the new installed. We'd like the tenant to be able to use the tub at least in 1-2 days. The whole project would ideally be completed within 1 week.
We'd like a quote for this, we are available on site for site visit on Tues and Thurs. We are looking for a regular contractor to do all our bathroom renovations going forward, probably 3-4 per year.
I have a washer and dryer in a small room in the basement and I would like to turn it into a full bathroom with standing shower. I would like to expand the area a little bit to be 7'x4' right now it is 6'x4'. I am not looking for expensive finish, I would say just the normal. But the shower will have be the rounded shape with the sliding doors to give more space in the bathroom.

Main Bathroom on second floor (1986) to be gutted and redone. Bathroom is approximately 8x10. Replace one sink, 64 inch vanity with drawers, add cabinets above vanity on either side of mirror; new fitted bathtub with shower, replace toilet and add new flooring. Install vented exhaust fan.
We have a 44 sq ft main bathroom that has been heavily used by kids for 13 years. Original builder-quality fixtures need replacement, and we would like tub/shower replaced with glass walk-in shower with sliding doors. Not looking for anything fancy, just durable fixtures and maximizing available space.
Ensuite Bathroom renovation that is approx. 7 feet by 5 feet. Existing bathroom has a built in stand-up shower (aprox. 30x30) with interior tiling. The tiles are cracked at the bottom and may have some water collected underneath. The house is 26 year old and the bathroom is the original. We would like the choice of an estimate to repair the shower and also one to remove the existing shower for a bigger one. There is enough space to provide a small bathtub and shower (5 feet) but would prefer only a shower that extends into the 5 foot space. The sink needs to be replaced and would like a low flush toilet as long as they make them so a raised toilet seat will fit. The floor is only linoleum so ceramic tile would be needed. Because of the placement of the bathroom door near to the outside wall, there may be a restriction on fitting certain sizes of pre-made showers through the door opening.
We just purchased a 2008 home in Beacon Hill. We take possession Feb 1, 2021. We would like to renovate the ensuite bath before we move in at the end of Feb.
The current 4 piece bath has a soaker tub, std 3x3 shower stall, toilet and vanity with 1 sink. We would like to remove the tub and put a custom shower in it’s place (approx. 3x5, 3x6), preferably with a shallow acrylic basin and tile walls with glass door. With the bit of extra space (shower narrower than current tub) we would like to extend the vanity and put in a new cabinet and counter with his and hers sinks. Toilet would stay where it is and where the current shower is, we’d like to cap off the plumbing and put a linen closet there. The floor would also be replaced (tile).
Also, we believe the vanity and counter top would pretty easily fit in the main bath (cabinets look the same size, but drawers are switched sides. Of possible we would like to move the cabinet and /or granite counter into the main bath.
Attached are some photos. We can have access to the home once before closing for the purposes of estimates.
References will be required.
Thanks
Work to include:-
1-Internal and external drywalls as well as ceiling of the bathroom.

3-Fix floor and wall tiles ( wall around the bath tub only )
4-Paints for the walls ( in and out ) and ceiling.
5-Install 32 inch door, lock, handle and hinges.
6-Electrical work is limited to adjustment of the existing power outlets to fit the wall level.
7-Any minor work needed to complete the bathroom up to best function.
As discussed, my husband and I want to reno 2 bathrooms in our house in centrepointe. The attached document provides measurements and some rough ideas of what we want.
For the main bath, we were thinking of moving the tub to where the vanity is (assuming we would need a new tub/shower though), and putting a double sink vanity where the tub was. Otherwise, we would need new tile, lights, etc in that one.
For the master, we want a steam shower, and were thinking it could go in the corner between the two windows, with a freestanding tub to the right of that. Then we would need tile and trimmings in that bathroom as well.
For both bathrooms we would want one style of tile for the floor (likely a large tile in a dark colour), and a smaller lighter style for the walls (standard style where tile goes just above the line of the free standing tub, but all the way up in the main bath with tub and shower combo).
The house is vacant, and we take possession in early September. We want the work done before we move in, which will be mid to late October.
What would be the approximate cost for this kind of project? Assuming we want to choose the master shower and tub ourselves, can you provide a quote just for the labour and remainder of supplies in that one?
I require the basement to be finished to about 75 %. That would include framing and drywall and electrical. No doors installed or painting, no carpet.
There would 4 rooms total with a bathroom. The house is 2yrs old and my only concern at this time is TIME. I am on vaction for 1 month and would like to have the project done in that timeline.
Approximately 40-yr. old home with 12X11.5 kitchen. Need to remove bulkhead and remove upper cupboards. New cabinets would be installed opposite to where they are now. Fridge would be relocated across, next to new cupboards. New floor and countertops as well. New sink installed.
Bathroom - Approximately 8'X5'...(might be a bit wider$. Replace floor, bathtub (new one with jets), counter top, sink and cupboards and add a medicine chest, lighting and safety handle in shower/tub enclosed with new tiles and glass doors. Paint room minimum 2 costs.
Replace sheet vinyl flooring with tile (type to be determined) in the Kitchen, powder room and front hall.
Replace existing kitchen cabinets, counters, bathroom vanity and toilet.
Remove Fluorescent lighting in kitchen and remove the surrounding drop ceiling apply new drywall to ceiling and add new kitchen lighting (type to be determined).
Replace existing wall tile in Kitchen.
Paint and finish.
Provide and install Stainless steel range hood and dishwasher.
The kitchen needs a complete overhaul. The Bathroom floor needs leveling and at least some new tiles, the molded shower wall needs removing and changing and I would like cupboards and drawers under the sink instead of what we have now.
We are not rich or handy so we need someone who can do a good job for a low price. We also need lots of explaining. We are borrowing the money now to do it before the tax credit is no longer effective.
I require my kitchen and bathroom re-done from top to bottom. The kitchen is 15' by 8' and the bathroom 9.5' by 5'. Old tile, cupboards, damaged drywall, etc needs to be removed and new tile put down. Then I will get Ikea to design and install the kitchen. I then require you to come back and install tile, after the counters are installed. I will do the painting.
