I am looking to centre my existing gas fireplace (currently offset by about 2 ft) and build a for to ceiling stone wall with a reclaimed wood mantel with the TV above the mantel. On either side of the stone wall will be 2-3 shelves with cabinets at the bottom of the lowest shelf on each side.
The wall is 13 ft wide by 8 ft high. The stone wall will be 6 ft wide and the shelves on each side of the stone wall will be 3.5 ft will. The cabinets will be about 3ft high by 3.5 ft wide.
.....see drawing of the intended end result in attached photo.
Our house is approx 30 yrs old. We are looking to make one wall in the livingroom all shelving & cabinets in white. The bottom 1/3 would be closed in cupboards, upper 2/3s shelves for displaying china, artifacts. Possibly glass doors on upper shelves. The dimension of the wall is 12 feet wide by 8 feet high. Open to your suggestions.
We have a kitchen island in our condo that is supported by a set of cabinets on each end (see picture). We are looking to replace one set of cabinets with a post(s) to allow for more seating room around the island. The work will involve putting together a post(s) and trim and then installing it while supporting the countertop.
I am looking to add a "seamless" addition to an existing cabinet. I recently installed a fridge that is too big for the existing space designed under the cabinet. In doing so, I was forced to take apart the cabinet. I would like to re-install the section of cabinet that is to cover the other side of the fridge, however now the dimensions of the cabinet must change. Can someone out there help in a situation like this?
Attempted a vanity replacement on my own and it didn't quite work. I had to replace a vanity where there was no flooring already installed and only had one choice among 'pre-fab' vanities. I need the following done:
-Attach drawer 'faces' directly to vanity for faux drawers
-Add quarter round around the bottom
-Ensure vanity aligns properly with wall/baseboards
-Patch wall where cabinet used to be
I have a 31"W x 15" H cabinet that I need to refit to be 31" x 11" to accommodate a new refridgerator. My current high from floor to cabinet is 69" but the new fridge is 70". So the cabinet above the fridge needs to srink. As there is an 31" x 11" next to the cabinet that needs to be resized, we were looking to have it resized the same. I'm not sure if the current doors can be resized or not, but they would need to look the same.
Hi, I would like to fix my washroom cabinet under the sink that was damaged due to a water leak. I have the new cabinet box (Width 29" / Height 28" / Depth 20.5") the doors, hinges, and handles. I need the old cabinet and countertop removed, and new cabinet and old countertop installed. Not sure if anything needs to be done for plumbing (not damaged). please call me or email. Thank you!
