We have secured the Canadian distribution rights for Sanidoor. Sanidoor is a patented touch free swinging door system, serving as the final link in the chain for the total touch-free washroom experience. We will be selling the product to various markets across Canada through a sales force that will not be tasked with the physical installation of the units, establishing a relationship with installers is the purpose of this RFQ.
Installation includes:
* Basic Electrical: The Sanidoor unit needs to be connected to a standard electrical outlet (may have to be installed) or be hardwired.
* Basic Install: Installation manual calls for use of No. 2 & No. 3 Phillips head screwdriver, 3/16€ Drill bit for mounting hole pilots, Metric Allen Wrench set, standard pereonal protective equipment and other minor materials. Wires will need to be fished from the top of the door frame to the actuator mounted on the wall approximately 4' away.
* Finishing work: Units will be installed in both washrooms and major throughways. Contractor will have to provide proof of experience with drywall, tile, stone, brick, concrete, metal, wood, and marble as job may require installation on any of those walls previously mentioned.
* Startup Calibration: Simple data entry into digital display on unit to confirm door swing speed, and other options. Contractor will have complete access to the product design engineer for questions and will have a complete product training session.

* Interested in receiving hourly charge and piece work volume discounts if applicable.
* Please include any information pertaiing to territory coverage if your company has provincewide/nationwide coverage.

We are preparing to install a new IKEA kitchen (plans are already finalized); but before cabinets are installed, we need to move several electrical outlets, as well as move our stove exhaust fan to a different area. Also - we have a non-structural wall that we are looking to open up - it's already partially open but we'd like to finish that and get it all ready.
I like to add some pot lights to my kitchen, I like to know the cost and what concerns I should have when hiring a contractor to do this job.
I like to add 6 pot lights to my kitchen.
Add another 4 pot lights to the nook. Move the big chandler light over to the "x" spot so its right on top of the table.
One square of a drop ceiling needs to be replaced, the previous square had a pot light in the center of it and needs to be put back in.
We have a new replacement square, but to fit the pot light back in, it appears the light needs to be taken apart so that it can fit properly back into place.

I'm looking to get the electrical checked out (and the aluminum wiring pigtailed if needed) by a licensed electrician at the most cost effective way for my 2-storey (+basement) rental townhouse in Ottawa South Keys area.
My tenant is currently occupying the unit. Ideally, I would want to know whether the wirings are pigtailed and get a quote on pigtailing from your first visit.
Thank you
I'm looking to get a few things done at the most cost effective way for my 2-storey (+basement) townhouse in Ottawa South Keys area.
1.The hardware of many windows are not operative. Need to hire a qualified contractor to repair/replace the window hardware.
2. Air flow measured at the registers in the two small bedrooms on 2nd floor are much weaker than that in the master bedroom. Need to check the ductwork for leakage and/or blockage, repair as needed.
3. The ventilation fan of the basement bathroom discharges into the basement. Need to
correct the discharge to the outside of the building;
4. Also need a professional the check whether the Aluminum wires are pig-tailed (and certified by ESA)? ESA are not conducting inspection at the moment.
It'd be nice to have all of these done at the same time but I'd still be interested if you are only able to do some of these things.
My townhouse bathroom gets a lot of condensation on the ceiling in the winter. And the ceiling fan is old and doesn't move much air. There is no outside window in the bathroom, and the warm/moist air from showers is causing moisture on the ceiling, especially in the cold winter months.
I'm looking for a contractor that can do the following:
- replace/repair vapour barrier above bathroom ceiling (in attic)
- replace (or upgrade) the insulation above bathroom in attic (I'm thinking fiberglass, but I don't care. Probably need R40)
- remove old bathroom ceiling fan, and install new fan (install, attach vent to existing pipe, and connect wires)
The townhouse was build in 1985. The attic is insulated with a loose cellulose (newspaper?) material. The bathroom is 10' x 6.2'.
Please provide a quote for the work, labour and materials separately. The materials can be adjusted depending on the actual costs depending on the type of fan, or type of insulation.
If you need to visit and see the the site, we can arrange a date.
Location is in the Baseline & Woodroofe area, near Algonquin College.
Thanks for your bids!
Steve
I have a townhome built in 1971. It has a fusebox in the basement that is maxed out (no available fuses). I want to change it to a circuit breaker.
I am looking for a quote for parts and labour (including permits if required)
The circuit breaker will power:
- a furnace (forced air gas)
- hot water tank
-dishwasher
-stove
-fridge
-air conditioner
-washer/dryer
- large freezer
Separate three basement lights from the existing 3 way switch circuit and add an independent light switch for each of the three bulbs
- The house is on 200 Amp service, and we are able to add breakers /circuits if required.
The basement ceiling is finished (drywall). Hot /wires from the breaker panel to the light switch circuit is accessible in the utility room, and have extra space to add breaker to 200A panel.
I had the ESA report done, and I need the work completed by Nov. 16th.
1. Use running boards for wires
2. strap down wires
3. Add recepticals to reduce use of extension cords
4. Add covers on all electrical boxes
5. Change reversed polarity on receptacles
6. Ungrounded receptacles 7. Additional branch circuits to eliminated the need for overfusiong.
8. Panel should be replaced to accomodate circuits. 9. Some ungrounded circuits are leaking current.
This is a rental, and I can be at the place after 3pm for quotes, and need to give notice to tenants.
House: about 100yrs old., Duples, 3 stories.
Thanks
Jamie
1. A new stove top (already purchased) to replace another..straight forward wiring, easy access to junction box. New wiring has already been installed previously by licensed company.
2. Two outdoor front porch lights installed, one lamp does not work, at present...needs new wire from switch. Access might include cutting a bit of wall away. Already purchased lamps.
