Budget is priority.
Hi, We would like to fence-in our yard at the end of April, and are looking for some competitive quotes as we are on a tight budget.
Our lot is 50 x 100, and we would be looking for fencing for 50 x 100 x 25 x 25.
Depending on cost of labour and cost of materials, we are thinking that we would like to purchase materials for the project.
Pleae advise if this would interest you, if you are available to do the work, and provide a quote.
Thanks,
Megan

Need post whole digging service (measure, dig below frost line, add 6" drainage gravel, set in concrete) for 4x4x10 pressure treated wood posts. I will supply posts.
Please provide price per post. There are roughly 13 posts to be installed.
- Need service done soon or early July
- Corner single house in Barrhaven. Easy access from road.
- New fence, no old posts to remove.
- Ground is mostly clay
I need to do a ceder fence. Pressure treated wood fence 6' high, with no latice.
Measurements in feet:
East : 36 ( shared )
West : 42 ( shared )
North : 42 ( shared )
South : 7 non shared
Need a door 6' high.
Need to do this ASAP. There are 4 other neighbors with similar specifications.
Part of my 30 year old fence gave way.
It is leaning. Post rot
Probably can use 4 posts (or maybe(?)) some kind of temporary fix...I think you may be able to avoid removing the existing concrete bases. I may be able to settle for fence stakes.. It is my gate entrance section that is perpendicular to the side of the house
Can you please find some time in your busy schedule for me?
If you can make this repair I would ask you to make an assessment while you are here and give me a quote for a new deck next year.
I am quite hearing impaired so please use the email route..
Thanks
Bill
The fence of my house should be replaced. I do not have the exact measures but it has 6 to 8 wood boards joint together. I really would like to have a couple of contractors take a look at it and tell me what the cost would be. The house is more than 25 years old and I don't think that fence has been repaired or replaced at all in a long time.
Looking to fence area in, approximately 970 ft worth of fencing for the purpose of a fenced in dog area. Looking to have dog-safe fencing, at least 5 ft high, looking for cheapest option of safe option, possibly no-climb or something to prevent any size of dog from squeezing through.
Hello,
My wife and I recently purchased a home in Barrhaven. It is a 3 bedroom Bungalow, with a completely finished basement. We want to replace the flooring on the main floor with hardwood. 2 of the bedrooms currently have carpet, as well as the living room. 1 bedroom has laminate flooring. The hallway, dining room, and kitchen all have ceramic tile. We would like to leave the tile in the main floor master bathroom and hall bathroom, but would like to replace it everywhere else. We understand it costs more to remove ceramic tile. We have not yet decided on a specific hardwood type or colour, but we are exploring our options currently. We believe the main floor of the house is around 1100 sq feet. The house was built in 1996, and is in the chapman mills area. We would like to start the project immediately after the date of possession in mid June.
We also would like to extend the chain link fence up to the side door of the house as well as close a small gap on the other side of the house. All in all it would likely be 30 feet of new chain link fence. We do not have precise measurements as of yet, but we do have one more visitation before the date of possession in mid June.
Thank you.
As part of a townhouse complex we are looking to have our main driveway and garage area resurfaced or repaved. This should also include repairs to drains and access hole areas (former concrete seals have eroded).
This project could also include the installation of a gate (with electronic opening) to close off access to the main garage area.
The complex has 14 owners and I am the President of the co-tenancy committee.
Replacement project of our old gate with one that looks more like a professional entrance gate.
The attached photos are a indication of the direction we would like to follow but your assistance and advice is appreciated. A site visit, I believe is critical as we are prepared to answer your questions.
The photos have dimensions of this project and we would like to work with you on the types of materials best suited for this type of gate.
Full perimeter cedar fence required. 7 ft and 6 ft high in places, with lattice included in that measurement. Full privacy required so sandwich board preferred.
Approximate dimensions are:
Adjacent to house on left: 4ft, 6ft high sandwich board including lattice
Left side: 58ft, 6ft high sandwich board including lattice
Back: 53ft, 7ft high sandwich board including lattice
Right side: 48ft, 7ft high sandwich board including lattice
Adjacent to house on right:: 4ft, 7ft high sandwich board including lattice (and gate)
I am moving into a new house this week and the first order of business will be to install a fence to contain as much of my yard as possible. I am also open to the possibility of just having somebody install the fence posts for me if anybody will offer that service alone. Here are the details I can think to provide (please don't hesitate to ask for more clarification, if needed):
- corner lot with side/front yard located in Elmvale Acres (eastern Ottawa area, near General Hospital)
- total desired fence length will be approximately 175 feet
- fence height should be to regulations (I believe that will limit us to 1 metre for much of the fence)
- the desired fence material is cedar (I prefer not to use pressure treated wood)
- the desired fence style is alternating boards on both sides, although I am open to suggestions
- there will likely need to be two gates
- there are several mature trees on the property that we will need to navigate around which could be a problem
With the last big wind storm, our fence took a beating. It has 8 posts. We installed new cedar 1x6 the full length and we would like to reuse the same fencing on the new one. I would remove them from the old fence, but we would need new posts. There is easy access from next door to bring a post hole digger in. We would get you to reinstall the cedar boards on the new fence. We need this done ASAP. Thank you for your time.
