Forced air system, 22 year old Bryant furnace, recently replaced air filter may have tripped a wire (not sure if that's possible). Don't just want to be told we need a new furnace if it's potentially fix-able. Alternatively, most cost-efficient rent to own program requested.

I need to install ASAP an in-duct smoke detector in my residential furnace. The detector is wired with the furnace and in the event of smoke in the duct, the detector will shut off the furnace. For reference google SL-2000 P. I am looking for a detector that come with the supplier warranty. Thanks
We live in a rented house, although it is equipped with central air conditioning, the thermostat in the hall is currently reading 82 degrees (almost 28 Celsius) causing the air conditioning unit to operate non-stop, which in turn yields staggeringly high electricity bills! I am convinced that the attic needs additional ventilation as the vents are the ones originally installed when the house was built -- somewhere 30 years ago. The home owner isn't bothered and will not do anything about this.
We would like to find a handyman who can either install new roof vents or replace the existing ones. We think the best type of roof vent is the MAXIMUM VENTILATION type. We are prepared to purchase two units and have them installed by someone who knows a thing or two about roof ventilation installation.
Hi ! I am renovating my basement and the furnace/hvac/hot water tank is in the middle.
I would like to move them few inch ( same spot ) but to push them a little more in another direction since a part of the HVAC is literally infront of the stairs. So i can't built a wall if i want to because it will interfere with the stairs... so if i want to move them about 10 inch . How much would it cost?
