Hello, I am looking for a quote to tile my kitchen floor, replace the kitchen backsplash tile and replace the fireplace tile. We also had a leak in our basement which required opening the drywall and removing some of the insulation so we would like to repair that. This is not a big job and we would like each job quoted separately in case we cannot afford to do them all the same time.
Thank-you,
Amy
Hello there.
I am looking for help with tiling my kitchen in the Ottawa area.
The tile is already purchased and we have selected the grout color. We will need to know how much grout to purchase for this job.
I am keen to have someone bid on the placement of the tile and related grout work.
Thanks!
Hello, I have an 8 year old townhouse where tiles are showing signs of movement n the corners (near the cooking area mainly).
Can anyone please quote on a repair? I have probably a dozen extra tiles in case any break while re-bonding them. I also need grout repaired around 10+ tiles as it's cracking.
The tiles each appear to be approximately 1foot x 1 foot in dimension.
Thanks,
Craig
I'm in the market for a new tile contractor to do work on my jobs. I'm quoting a customer for a bathroom reno currently. Room is 5' x 7.5', 8 foot ceilings.
Need a labour quote for tile on the floor (likely 12x24 porcelain) and tile on the wall. Shower area (32" x 60" tray) gets wall tile floor to ceiling (with proper water proofing behind) and the rest of the bathroom will get wall tile 2/3 height. Shower area also needs a shampoo bottle recess. Material yet to be chosen.
Hoping to get a basic rough quote for the work described above. Customer will supply the tile only, your quote would need to reflect the remaining rough materials required. I can provide a few pics as well if you like. Customers are out of town for a while, so I don't have access to the home either at this point in time.
Thanks!
Dale
Property owner looking for quotes on the following:
600-800 square foot rear cedar deck replacement (also interested in pricing composite materials if possible)
800 square foot tiling (wood grain style ceramic tile) to include large eat-in kitchen, mudroom, laundry and stairs to basement
Soffit replacement around perimeter of 3000 square foot home
I would like to change the tiles in my entry way from ceramic to porcelain, take out some of the carpet and continue the tiles all the way to the powerder room, which currently has linoleum; including heating flooring underneath.
Also, take out the lineoleum floor in my upstairs bathroom and add marble tiles and heated flooring underneath.
I would like a quote for just labour and labour + materials.
Hello, I'm looking for someone to refinish my hardwood floors the week of Dec 17. I would need to have them sanded, stained and waxed.
Living room: 19'7" x 12'2"
Dining room: 14'7" x 9'10"
I'm also looking for someone to change the tiles in my kitchen and eating area. Also the week of the 17th (before the hardwood floor refinishing).
Eating area: 10'7" x 9'8"
Kitchen: 9'0" x 11'7"
Please get back to me with a quote. If you need to physically see the space, I have my final walk through tomorrow at 10am (Nov 20). THANK YOU :)
I need to have tile work done on my bathtub tile walls,
I have re-grouted one of the short walls and taken the grout out of half of the other short wall. The work would be to continue removing the rest of the grout (rest of short wall and complete long wall) and re-grouting those walls. The tiles are 4" x 4". Four of the lower tiles on the long wall near the front corner are pushed out a bit -- likely due to previous water seepage -- so those may need to be leveled and re-mounted.
Another option would be to just knock out all the old tile, put new wallboard as required, and re-tile. This may be easier/cheaper?
I am selling the condo, so either option is OK with me. The latter would probably look better in the end and help the sale price more.
I would be happy to receive price estimates and a timeline for this work.
Sincerely yours,
Mark

Hi, I'm looking to replace the tiles in a home I've recently purchased. I would prefer to supply my own tiles, but need a contactor to do about 250 sq ft in retiling, which would include removing the old tiles and installing new ones. What can I expect to pay (all in quote) for this type of work?
We need to either repair or replace an existing shower base. It is currently smooth river stones embedded in grout but it is falling apart everywhere. I am not sure it is repairable. The alternative is to remove existing tile and grout and replace with floor tiles. Surface area is 54" x 41". As far as a I know shower has Schluter shower base. Bathroom renovated 5 years ago.
Located in GREELY, ON (10km south of Hunt Club & Bank St in Ottawa).
Shower is standard length but full height (standing shower), with a window. Space is newly renovated with cementboard already installed. Looking for a professional, experienced tiler for this quick job. Hoping for quick starting date.
I'm now living in a condo with exposed concrete on the ceiling (approx. 240 Sq. Ft) and one long unostructed wall (approx. 300 Sq. Ft). I'm reacting badly to the concrete due to environmental sensitivities.
How much would it cost to purchase porcelain (recommended by my doc) tile and install on the long wall and also to cover the ceiling with drywall and paint it?
We are looking for a contractor to install porcelain tile on the kitchen, powder room and entrance of my house.
We also want to have the backslash in my kitchen replaced,
The measurements of the floors total 283 sq. ft
The measurement of the backsplash is 25 sq.ft
We are the property owners.
I want to tile a galley kitchen, and short hallway at right angle to, and flowing from, the galley. Right now there are two different types of tiles there having been done at different times. The galley kitchen floor is approximately 36 sq. ft. and the hallway is approximately 40 sq. ft.

I have approximately 297 square feet of floor that needs to be tiled. Kitchen, hallway, powder room and also another bathroom. It is a porcelain tile that is going in both spots.
I tore up the cushion floor that was there so the only thing on the floor is some minor paper and that is it.
